14When they were bringingוּבְהוֹצִיאָ֣םu.ve.ho.tzi.'AmH3318out the moneyהַכֶּ֔סֶףha.Ke.sefH3701which had been broughtהַמּוּבָ֖אha.mu.Va'H935into the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,Hilkiahחִלְקִיָּ֣הוּchil.ki.Ya.huH2518the priestהַכֹּהֵ֔ןha.ko.HenH3548foundמָצָא֙ma.Tza'H4672the bookסֵ֥פֶרSe.ferH5612of the lawתּֽוֹרַת־to.rat-H8451of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068givenby Mosesמֹשֶֽׁה׃mo.ShehH4872.

15Hilkiahחִלְקִיָּ֗הוּchil.ki.Ya.huH2518respondedוַיַּ֣עַןvai.Ya.'anH6030and saidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559to Shaphanשָׁפָ֣ןsha.FanH8227the scribeH5613, “I have foundמָצָ֖אתִיma.Tza.tiH4672the bookסֵ֧פֶרSe.ferH5612of the lawהַתּוֹרָ֛הha.to.RahH8451in the houseבְּבֵ֣יתbe.VeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068.”And Hilkiahחִלְקִיָּ֛הוּchil.ki.Ya.huH2518gaveוַיִּתֵּ֧ןvai.yi.TenH5414the bookהַסֵּ֖פֶרha.Se.ferH5612to Shaphanשָׁפָֽן׃sha.FanH8227.

16Then Shaphanשָׁפָ֤ןsha.FanH8227broughtוַיָּבֵ֨אvai.ya.Ve'H935the bookהַסֵּ֙פֶר֙ha.Se.ferH5612to the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428andreportedוַיָּ֨שֶׁבvai.Ya.shevH7725furtherע֧וֹדodH5750wordדָּבָ֖רda.VarH1697to the kingהַמֶּ֛לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, “Everythingכֹּ֛לkolH3605that wasentrustedנִתַּ֥ן בְּיַד־ni.Tan be.yad-H5414 H3027to your servantsעֲבָדֶ֖יךָ'a.va.Dei.khaH5650they are doingעֹשִֽׂים׃'o.SimH6213.

17They have also emptiedוַיַּתִּ֕יכוּvai.ya.Ti.khuH5413out the moneyהַכֶּ֖סֶףha.Ke.sefH3701which was foundהַנִּמְצָ֣אha.nim.Tza'H4672in the houseבְּבֵית־be.veit-H1004of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,and have deliveredוַֽיִּתְּנ֗וּהוּvai.yi.te.Nu.huH5414it into the handsH3027of the supervisorsהַמֻּפְקָדִ֔יםha.muf.ka.DimH6485and the workmenעוֹשֵׂ֥י הַמְּלָאכָֽה׃o.Sei ha.me.la.KhahH4399 H6213.”

18Moreover, Shaphanשָׁפָ֤ןsha.FanH8227the scribeH5613toldוַיַּגֵּ֞דvai.ya.GedH5046the kingלַמֶּ֣לֶךְla.Me.lekhH4428sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, “Hilkiahחִלְקִיָּ֖הוּchil.ki.Ya.huH2518the priestהַכֹּהֵ֑ןha.ko.HenH3548gaveנָ֣תַןNa.tanH5414me a bookסֵ֚פֶרSe.ferH5612.”And Shaphanשָׁפָ֖ןsha.FanH8227readוַיִּקְרָא־vai.yik.ra'-H7121from it in the presenceלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440of the kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428.

19When the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428heardכִּשְׁמֹ֣עַkish.Mo.a'H8085the wordsדִּבְרֵ֣יdiv.ReiH1697of the lawהַתּוֹרָ֑הha.to.RahH8451,he toreוַיִּקְרַ֖עvai.yik.Ra'H7167his clothesבְּגָדָֽיו׃be.ga.DavH899.

20Then the kingהַמֶּ֡לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428commandedוַיְצַ֣וvay.TzavH6680Hilkiahחִלְקִיָּ֡הוּchil.ki.Ya.huH2518,Ahikamאֲחִיקָ֣ם'a.chi.KamH296the sonבֶּן־be.no.Sha-H1121of Shaphanשָׁ֠פָןSha.fanH8227,Abdonעַבְדּ֨וֹןav.DonH5658the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Micahמִיכָ֜הmi.KhahH4318,Shaphanשָׁפָ֣ןsha.FanH8227the scribeH5613,and Asaiahעֲשָׂיָ֥ה'a.sa.YahH6222the king’sהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428servantעֶֽבֶד־'e.ved-H5650,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

21“Goלְכוּ֩le.KhuH1980,inquireדִרְשׁ֨וּdir.ShuH1875of the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068for me and for those who are leftהַנִּשְׁאָר֙ha.nish.'ArH7604in Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֣לbe.Yis.ra.'ElH3478and in Judahוּבִֽיהוּדָ֔הu.vi.hu.DahH3063,concerningH5921the wordsדִּבְרֵ֥יdiv.ReiH1697of the bookהַסֵּ֖פֶרha.Se.ferH5612whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834has been foundנִמְצָ֑אnim.Tza'H4672; forgreatגְדוֹלָ֤הge.do.LahH1419is the wrathחֲמַת־cha.mat-H2534of the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834is pouredנִתְּכָ֣הni.te.KhahH5413out on us becauseאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH5921 H834our fathersאֲבוֹתֵ֙ינוּ֙'a.vo.Tei.nuH1have not observedשָׁמְר֤וּsha.me.RuH8104the wordדְּבַ֣רde.VarH1697of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,to doלַעֲשׂ֕וֹתla.'a.SotH6213according to allכְּכָל־ke.khol-H3605that is writtenהַכָּת֖וּבha.ka.TuvH3789in thisהַזֶּֽה׃ פha.ZehH2088bookהַסֵּ֥פֶרha.Se.ferH5612.”

22So Hilkiahחִלְקִיָּ֜הוּchil.ki.Ya.huH2518and thosewhomוַאֲשֶׁ֣רva.'a.SherH834the kingהַמֶּ֗לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428had told wentוַיֵּ֨לֶךְvai.Ye.lekhH1980to Huldahחֻלְדָּ֨הchul.DahH2468the prophetessהַנְּבִיאָ֜הha.ne.vi.'AhH5031,the wifeאֵ֣שֶׁת׀'E.shetH802of Shallumשַׁלֻּ֣םsha.LumH7967the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121ofTokhathH8445,the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Hasrahחַסְרָה֙chas.RahH2641,the keeperשׁוֹמֵ֣רsho.MerH8104of the wardrobeהַבְּגָדִ֔יםha.be.ga.DimH899(now she livedיוֹשֶׁ֥בֶתyo.She.vetH3427in Jerusalemבִּירוּשָׁלִַ֖םbi.ru.sha.LimH3389in the Secondבַּמִּשְׁנֶ֑הba.mish.NehH4932Quarter); and they spokeוַיְדַבְּר֥וּvay.da.be.RuH1696to her regarding thisH2088.
