2That the citiesוְהֶעָרִ֗יםve.he.'a.RimH5892which Huramחוּרָם֙chu.RamH2361had restoredנָתַ֤ןna.TanH5414to Solomonלִשְׁלֹמֹ֔הlish.lo.MohH8010,Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֖הshe.lo.MohH8010builtבָּנָ֥הba.NahH1129them, and caused the childrenבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478to dwellוַיּ֥וֹשֶׁבvai.Yo.o.shevH3427there.

3And Solomonשְׁלֹמֹה֙she.lo.MohH8010wentH3212to Hamath–zobahH2578,and prevailedוַיֶּחֱזַ֖קvai.ye.che.ZakH2388against it.

4And he builtוַיִּ֥בֶןvai.Yi.venH1129Tadmorתַּדְמֹ֖רtad.MorH8412in the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּ֑רba.mid.BarH4057,and all the storeהַֽמִּסְכְּנ֔וֹתha.mis.ke.NotH4543citiesעָרֵ֣י'a.ReiH5892,which he builtבָּנָ֖הba.NahH1129in Hamathבַּחֲמָֽת׃ba.cha.MatH2574.

5Also he builtוַיִּ֜בֶןvai.Yi.venH1129Beth–horonH1032the upperהָֽעֶלְי֔וֹןha.'el.YonH5945,and Beth–horonH1032the netherהַתַּחְתּ֑וֹןha.tach.TonH8481,fencedמָצ֔וֹרma.TzorH4692citiesעָרֵ֣י'a.ReiH5892,with wallsחוֹמ֖וֹתcho.MotH2346,gatesדְּלָתַ֥יִםde.la.Ta.yimH1817,and barsוּבְרִֽיחַ׃u.ve.Ri.achH1280;

6And Baalathבַּעֲלָ֗תba.'a.LatH1191,and all the storeהַֽמִּסְכְּנוֹת֙ha.mis.ke.nOtH4543citiesעָרֵ֤י'a.ReiH5892that Solomonלִשְׁלֹמֹ֔הlish.lo.MohH8010had, and all the chariotהָרֶ֔כֶבha.Re.khevH7393citiesעָרֵ֣י'a.ReiH5892,and the citiesעָרֵ֣י'a.ReiH5892of the horsemenהַפָּרָשִׁ֑יםha.pa.ra.ShimH6571,and all that Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֗הshe.lo.MohH8010desiredחֵ֣שֶׁק חָשַׁק֙Che.shek cha.ShakH2837 H2836to buildלִבְנ֤וֹתliv.NotH1129in Jerusalemבִּירֽוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙bi.ru.sha.LimH3389,and in Lebanonוּבַלְּבָנ֔וֹןu.va.le.va.NonH3844,and throughout all the landאֶ֥רֶץ'E.retzH776of his dominionמֶמְשַׁלְתּֽוֹ׃mem.shal.ToH4475.

7As forall the peopleהָ֠עָםHa.'omH5971that wereleftהַנּוֹתָ֨רha.no.TarH3498of the Hittitesהַחִתִּ֜יha.chi.TiH2850,and the Amoritesוְהָאֱמֹרִ֤יve.ha.'e.mo.RiH567,and the Perizzitesוְהַפְּרִזִּי֙ve.hap.pe.ri.ZiH6522,and the Hivitesוְהַחִוִּ֣יve.ha.chi.ViH2340,and the Jebusitesוְהַיְבוּסִ֔יve.hay.vu.SiH2983, which werenot of Israelמִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֖לmi.Yis.ra.'ElH3478,

8Butof their childrenבְּנֵיהֶ֗םbe.nei.HemH1121,who were leftנוֹתְר֤וּnot.RuH3498afterאַחֲרֵיהֶם֙'a.cha.rei.HemH310them in the landבָּאָ֔רֶץba.'A.retzH776,whom the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478consumedכִלּ֖וּםkhi.LumH3615not, them did Solomonשְׁלֹמֹה֙she.lo.MohH8010make to payוַיַּעֲלֵ֤םvai.ya.'a.LemH5927tributeלְמַ֔סle.MasH4522until this dayהַיּ֥וֹםhai.YomH3117.

12Then Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֛הshe.lo.MohH8010offeredהֶעֱלָ֧הhe.'e.LahH5927burnt offeringsעֹל֖וֹתo.LotH5930unto Yhwhלַיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068on the altarמִזְבַּ֣חmiz.BachH4196of Yhwhיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,which he had builtבָּנָ֖הba.NahH1129beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the porchהָאוּלָֽם׃ha.'u.LamH197,

16Now all the workמְלֶ֣אכֶתme.Le.khetH4399of Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֔הshe.lo.MohH8010was preparedוַתִּכֹּן֙va.ti.KonH3559unto the dayהַיּ֛וֹםhai.YomH3117of the foundationמוּסַ֥דmu.SadH4143of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,and until it was finishedכְּלֹת֑וֹke.lo.ToH3615. Sothe houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Yhwhיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068was perfectedשָׁלֵ֖םsha.LemH8003.

17Then wentהָלַ֨ךְha.LakhH1980Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֜הshe.lo.MohH8010to Ezion–geberH6100,and to Elothאֵיל֛וֹת'ei.LotH359,at the seaהַיָּ֖םhai.YamH3220sideשְׂפַ֥תse.FatH8193in the landבְּאֶ֥רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Edomאֱדֽוֹם׃'e.DomH123.
