2 Peter 3:3-10
31KnowG1097 thisG3778 firstG4413 of all, that 2in the lastG2078 daysG2250 3mockersG1703 will comeG2064 with their mockingG1701, 4followingG4198 afterG2596 their ownG2398 lustsG1939, 4and sayingG3004, “5WhereG4226 is the promiseG1860 of His 6comingG3952? For ever sinceG575G3739 the fathersG3962 78fellG2837 asleepG2837, allG3956 thingsG3956 continueG1265 justG3779 as they were 9from the beginningG746 of creationG2937.” 5For 10when they maintainG2309 thisG3778, it escapesG2990 their noticeG2990 that 11by the wordG3056 of GodG2316 the heavensG3772 existedG1510 longG1597 agoG1597 and the earthG1093 was 12formedG4921 out of waterG5204 and by waterG5204, 6throughG1223 whichG3739 13the worldG2889 at that timeG5119 was 14destroyedG622 by being floodedG2626 with waterG5204. 7But by His wordG3056 15the presentG3568 heavensG3772 and earthG1093 are being reservedG2343 for 16fireG4442, keptG5083 for 17the dayG2250 of judgmentG2920 and destructionG684 of ungodlyG765 peopleG444.
8But do not let thisG3778 oneG1520 fact escapeG2990 your noticeG2990, 18belovedG27, that with the LordG2962 oneG1520 dayG2250 is likeG5613 a thousandG5507 yearsG2094, and 19a thousandG5507 yearsG2094 likeG5613 oneG1520 dayG2250. 920The LordG2962 is not slowG1019 about His promiseG1860, as someG5100 countG2233 slownessG1022, but 21isG3114 patientG3114 towardG1519 you, 22not willingG1014 for anyG5100 to perishG622, but for allG3956 to comeG5562 to repentanceG3341. 10But 23the dayG2250 of the LordG2962 24will comeG2240 likeG5613 a thiefG2812, in whichG3739 25the heavensG3772 26will passG3928 awayG3928 with a roarG4500 and the 27elementsG4747 will be destroyedG3089 withG2741 intenseG2741 heatG2741, and 28the earthG1093 and 29its worksG2041 will be 30discoveredG2147.
