1 John 4:15-21
151WhoeverG3739G1437 confessesG3670 that 2JesusG2424 is the SonG5207 of GodG2316, GodG2316 3remainsG3306 in him, and he in GodG2316.
164We have comeG1097 to knowG1097 and have believedG4100 the loveG26 whichG3739 GodG2316 hasG2192 56for us. 7GodG2316 is loveG26, and the one who 8remainsG3306 in loveG26 remainsG3306 in GodG2316, and GodG2316 remainsG3306 in him.
17By thisG3778, 9loveG26 is perfectedG5048 with us, soG2443 thatG2443 we may haveG2192 10confidenceG3954 in 11the dayG2250 of judgmentG2920; becauseG3754 12as He is, we alsoG2532 are in thisG3778 worldG2889.
18There is noG3756 fearG5401 in loveG26, but 13perfectG5046 loveG26 drivesG906 out fearG5401, becauseG3754 fearG5401 14involvesG2192 punishmentG2851, and the one who fearsG5399 is not 15perfectedG5048 in loveG26.
1916We loveG25, becauseG3754 He firstG4413 lovedG25 us.
2017IfG1437 someoneG5100 saysG3004, “I loveG25 GodG2316,” and yet he 18hatesG3404 his brotherG80 or sister, he is a 19liarG5583; for 20the one who does not loveG25 his brotherG80 and sister whomG3739 he has seenG3708, 21cannotG1410G3756 loveG25 GodG2316, whomG3739 he has not seenG3708.
21And 22thisG3778 commandmentG1785 we haveG2192 from Him, that the one who lovesG25 GodG2316 23must alsoG2532 loveG25 his brotherG80 and sister.
