15ThenοὖνounG3767the PhariseesΦαρισαῖοιPharisaioiG5330alsoG2532were askingἠρώτωνērōtōnG2065him againπάλινpalinG3825howπῶςpōsG4459he receivedG308his sightἀνέβλεψεν.aneblepsenG308.And he saidG3004to them, “He appliedἐπέθηκένepethēkenG2007mudπηλὸνpēlonG4081to my eyesὀφθαλμοὺςophthalmousG3788,and I washedἐνιψάμηνenipsamēnG3538,and I seeβλέπω.blepōG991.”
16ThereforeοὖνounG3767someτινές·tinesG5100of the PhariseesΦαρισαίωνPharisaiōnG5330were sayingἔλεγονelegonG3004, “ThisοὗτοςhoutosG3778Manἄνθρωπος,anthrōposG444is not from GodθεοῦtheouG2316,becauseὅτιhotiG3754Hedoes not keepτηρεῖ.tēreiG5083the SabbathσάββατονsabbatonG4521.”But othersἄλλοιalloiG243were sayingἔλεγον·elegonG3004, “HowπῶςpōsG4459canδύναταιdunataiG1410a manἄνθρωποςanthrōposG444who is a sinnerἁμαρτωλὸςhamartōlosG268performG2038suchτοιαῦταtoiautaG5108signsσημεῖαsēmeiaG4592?” Andthere was dissensionσχίσμαschismaG4978amongἐνenG1722them.
17SoοὖνounG3767they saidλέγουσινlegousinG3004againπάλιν·palinG3825to the manτυφλῷtuphlōG5185whoG5185wasG5185blindG5185, “WhatτίtiG5101do you sayλέγειςlegeisG3004aboutπερὶperiG4012Him, sinceG3754He openedἠνέῳξένēneōxenG455your eyesὀφθαλμούς;ophthalmousG3788?”And he saidG3004, “He is aprophetπροφήτηςprophētēsG4396.”
