3He also appointedthe king’sהַמֶּ֨לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428portionוּמְנָת֩u.me.NatH4521of his propertyרְכוּשׁ֜וֹre.khu.ShoH7399for the burntלָעֹל֗וֹתla.'o.LotH5930offeringsH5930, namely,for the morningהַבֹּ֣קֶרha.Bo.kerH1242and eveningוְהָעֶ֔רֶבve.ha.'E.revH6153burntלְעֹלוֹת֙le.'o.lOtH5930offeringsH5930,and the burntוְהָ֣עֹל֔וֹתve.Ha.'o.LotH5930offeringsH5930for the Sabbathsלַשַּׁבָּת֖וֹתla.sha.ba.TotH7676and for the newוְלֶחֳדָשִׁ֣יםve.le.cho.da.ShimH2320moonsH2320and for the appointedוְלַמֹּעֲדִ֑יםve.la.mo.'a.DimH4150festivalsH4150,as it is writtenכַּכָּת֖וּבka.ka.TuvH3789in the Lawבְּתוֹרַ֥תbe.to.RatH8451of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

4Also he toldוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559the peopleלָעָם֙la.'AmH5971who livedלְיוֹשְׁבֵ֣יle.yo.she.VeiH3427in Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֔םye.ru.sha.LimH3389to giveלָתֵ֕תla.TetH5414the portionמְנָ֥תme.NatH4521due to the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֖יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548and the Levitesוְהַלְוִיִּ֑םve.hal.vi.YimH3881,so that they might devoteיֶחֶזְק֖וּye.chez.KuH2388themselves tothe Lawבְּתוֹרַ֥תbe.to.RatH8451of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

5As soon as theorderהַדָּבָ֗רha.da.VarH1697spreadוְכִפְרֹ֣ץve.khif.RotzH6555,the sonsבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478abundantlyH7235providedH7235the firstרֵאשִׁ֣יתre.ShitH7225fruitsH7225of grainדָּגָ֗ןda.GanH1715,newתִּיר֤וֹשׁti.Ro.oshH8492wineH8492,oilוְיִצְהָר֙ve.yitz.HarH3323,honeyוּדְבַ֔שׁu.de.VashH1706,and of allוְכֹ֖לve.KholH3605the produceתְּבוּאַ֣תte.vu.'AtH8393of the fieldשָׂדֶ֑הsa.DehH7704;and they broughtH935inH935abundantlyלָרֹ֖בla.RoH7230the titheוּמַעְשַׂ֥רu.ma'.SarH4643of everythingהַכֹּ֛לha.KolH3605.

6The sonsוּבְנֵ֧יu.ve.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֣לYis.ra.'ElH3478and Judahוִֽיהוּדָ֗הvi.hu.DahH3063who livedהַיּֽוֹשְׁבִים֮hai.yo.she.VimH3427in the citiesבְּעָרֵ֣יbe.'a.ReiH5892of Judahיְהוּדָה֒ye.hu.DahH3063alsoגַּם־gam-H1571broughtH935inH935the titheמַעְשַׂ֤רma'.SarH4643of oxenבָּקָר֙ba.KarH1241and sheepוָצֹ֔אןva.TzonH6629, andthe titheוּמַעְשַׂ֣רu.ma'.SarH4643ofsacredH6944giftsH6944which were consecratedהַמְקֻדָּשִׁ֖יםham.ku.da.ShimH6942to the Lordלַיהוָ֣הla.Yah.wehH3068their Godאֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם'e.lo.hei.HemH430,and placedוַֽיִּתְּנ֖וּvai.yi.te.NuH5414themin heapsH6194.

7In the thirdהַשְּׁלִשִׁ֔יha.she.li.ShiH7992monthבַּחֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ba.Cho.deshH2320they beganהֵחֵ֥לּוּhe.Che.luH2490tomakeלְיִסּ֑וֹדle.yi.SodH3245the heapsהָעֲרֵמ֖וֹתha.'a.re.MotH6194,and they finishedכִּלּֽוּ׃ סki.LuH3615themby the seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִ֖יha.she.vi.'IH7637monthוּבַחֹ֥דֶשׁu.va.Cho.deshH2320.

8When Hezekiahיְחִזְקִיָּ֣הוּye.chiz.ki.Ya.huH2396and the rulersוְהַשָּׂרִ֔יםve.ha.sa.RimH8269cameוַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙vai.ya.Vo.'uH935and sawוַיִּרְא֖וּvai.yir.'UH7200the heapsהָעֲרֵמ֑וֹתha.'a.re.MotH6194,they blessedוַֽיְבָרֲכוּ֙vay.va.ra.KhuH1288the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068andHis peopleעַמּ֥וֹa.MoH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ פYis.ra.'ElH3478.

9Then Hezekiahיְחִזְקִיָּ֗הוּye.chiz.ki.Ya.huH2396questionedוַיִּדְרֹ֣שׁvai.yid.RoshH1875the priestsהַכֹּֽהֲנִ֛יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548and the Levitesוְהַלְוִיִּ֖םve.hal.vi.YimH3881concerningH5921the heapsהָעֲרֵמֽוֹת׃ha.'a.re.MotH6194.

10Azariahעֲזַרְיָ֧הוּ'a.zar.Ya.huH5838,the chiefהָרֹ֖אשׁha.RoshH7218priestהַכֹּהֵ֛ןha.ko.HenH3548of the houseלְבֵ֣יתle.VeitH1004of Zadokצָד֑וֹקtza.DokH6659,saidH559to him, “SinceH4480the contributionsהַתְּרוּמָ֜הha.te.ru.MahH8641startedמֵהָחֵ֨לme.ha.ChelH2490comingלָבִ֣יאla.Vi'H935into the houseבֵית־veit-H1004of the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,we have hadH7646enoughH7646to eatאָכ֨וֹל'a.KholH398with plentyלָר֔וֹבla.RovH7230leftH3498overH3498,for the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068has blessedבֵּרַ֣ךְbe.RakhH1288His peopleעַמּ֔וֹa.MoH5971,and thisהַזֶּֽה׃ סha.ZehH2088greatH1995quantityH1995is leftH3498overH3498.”
