Matthew 15:2-6
“WhyG1223G5101 do Your disciplesG3101 breakG3845 the traditionG3862 of the eldersG4245? For they 1do not washG3538 their handsG5495 whenG3752 they eatG2068 breadG740.”
And He answeredG611 and saidG3004 to them, “WhyG1223 do you yourselvesG4771 transgressG3845 the commandmentG1785 of GodG2316 for the sakeG1223 of your traditionG3862?
For GodG2316 saidG3004, ‘2HonorG5091 your fatherG3962 and motherG3384,’ and, ‘3He who speaksG2551 evilG2551 of fatherG3962 orG2228 motherG3384 is to 4be putG5053 to deathG2288.’
But you sayG3004, ‘WhoeverG3739G302 saysG3004 to his fatherG3962 orG2228 motherG3384, “WhateverG3739G1437 I haveG1473 that would helpG5623 you has been 5givenG1435 to God,”
he is not to honorG5091 his fatherG3962 orG2228 his motherG33846.’ And by this you invalidatedG208 the wordG3056 of GodG2316 for the sakeG1223 of your traditionG3862.
