John 8:41-44
41You are doingG4160 the deedsG2041 of 1your fatherG3962.” They saidG3004 to Him, “We were not bornG1080 of fornicationG4202; 2we haveG2192 oneG1520 FatherG3962: GodG2316.”
42JesusG2424 saidG3004 to them, “IfG1487 GodG2316 were your FatherG3962, 3you would loveG25 Me, 4for I proceededG1831 forthG1831 and haveG2240 comeG2240 from GodG2316, for I have 5not evenG3761 comeG2064 on My ownG1683 initiativeG1683, but 67He sentG649 Me.
43WhyG1223G5101 do you not understandG1097 89whatG2981 I am sayingG2981? It is becauseG3754 you cannotG1410G3756 10hearG191 My wordG3056.
4411You are of 12your fatherG3962 the devilG1228, and 13you wantG2309 to doG4160 the desiresG1939 of your fatherG3962. 14He was a murdererG443 from the beginningG746, and does not standG4739 in the truthG225 becauseG3754 15there is noG3756 truthG225 in him. WheneverG3752 he speaksG2980 16a lieG5579, he 17speaksG2980 from his ownG2398 nature, for he is a liarG5583 and the fatherG3962 of 18liesG846.
