5“For thusH3541 saysH559 the LordH3068, ‘1I have heardH8085 a soundH6963 of 2terrorH2731, Of dreadH6343, and thereH369 is noH369 peaceH7965.6AskH7592 nowH4994, and seeH7200 IfH518 a maleH2145 can giveH3205 birthH3205. WhyH4069 do I seeH7200 everyH3605 manH1397 With his handsH3027 on his loinsH2504, 3as a woman in childbirthH3205? 8‘It shall comeH1961 about on that dayH3117,’ declaresH5002 the LordH3068 of hostsH6635, ‘that I will 8breakH7665 his yokeH5923 from offH5921 9their neckH6677 and will tearH5423 offH5423 10their 11bondsH4147; and strangersH2114 will noH3808 longerH5750 12makeH5647 13them their slavesH5647. 9But they shall serveH5647 the LordH3068 their GodH430 and 14DavidH1732 their kingH4428, whomH834 I will raiseH6965 up for them.1015FearH3372 not, O JacobH3290 My servantH5650,’ declaresH5002 the LordH3068, ‘And do not be dismayedH2865, O IsraelH3478; For beholdH2009, I will saveH3467 you 16from afarH7350 And your 17offspringH2233 from the landH776 of their captivityH7628. 12“For thusH3541 saysH559 the LordH3068, ‘Your woundH4347 is incurableH605 And your 24injuryH4347 is seriousH2470.13ThereH369 is noH369 oneH369 to pleadH1777 your causeH1779; No healingH7499 for your soreH4205, 25NoH369 recoveryH8585 for you.14AllH3605 your 26loversH157 have forgottenH7911 you, They do not seekH1875 you; For I have 27woundedH5221 you with the woundH4347 of an enemyH340, With the 28punishmentH4148 of a 29cruelH394 oneH394, BecauseH5921 your 30iniquityH5771 is greatH7230 And your 31sinsH2403 are numerousH6105.15WhyH4100 do you cryH2199 out overH5921 your injuryH7667? 18“ThusH3541 saysH559 the LordH3068, ‘BeholdH2009, I will 39restoreH7725 the 40fortunesH7622 of the tentsH168 of JacobH3290 And 41haveH7355 compassionH7355 on his dwellingH4908 placesH4908; And the 42cityH5892 will be rebuiltH1129 on its ruinH8510, And the 43palaceH759 will standH3427 on its rightfulH4941 placeH4941.19From them will proceedH3318 44thanksgivingH8426 And the voiceH6963 of those who 4546celebrateH7832; And I will 47multiplyH7235 them and they will not be diminishedH4591; I will also 48honorH3513 them and they will not be insignificantH6819.2049Their childrenH1121 also will be as formerlyH6924, And 50their congregationH5712 shall be 51establishedH3559 beforeH6440 Me; And I will punishH6485 allH3605 52their oppressorsH3905.2153Their 54leaderH117 shall be one of them, And 55their rulerH4910 shall comeH3318 forthH3318 from 56their midstH7130; And I will 57bringH7126 him nearH7126 and he shall approachH5066 Me; For 58whoH4310 would dareH6148 to riskH6148 his lifeH3820 to 59approachH5066 Me?’ declaresH5002 the LordH3068.22‘You shall be 60My peopleH5971, And I will be your GodH430.’”
