Deuteronomy 6:20-24
“1WhenH3588 your sonH1121 asksH7592 you in timeH4279 to comeH4279, sayingH559, ‘WhatH4100 do the testimoniesH5713 and the statutesH2706 and the judgmentsH4941 mean whichH834 the LordH3068 our GodH430 commandedH6680 you?’
then you shall sayH559 to your sonH1121, ‘We were slavesH5650 to PharaohH6547 in EgyptH4714, and the LordH3068 broughtH3318 us from EgyptH4714 with a mightyH2389 handH3027.
Moreover, the LordH3068 showedH5414 greatH1419 and distressingH7451 signsH226 and wondersH4159 before our eyesH5869 against EgyptH4714, PharaohH6547 and allH3605 his householdH1004;
He broughtH3318 us out from thereH8033 in orderH4616 to bringH935 us in, to giveH5414 us the landH776 whichH834 He had swornH7650 to our fathersH1.’
So the LordH3068 commandedH6680 us to observeH6213 allH3605 theseH428 statutesH2706, 2to fearH3372 the LordH3068 our GodH430 for our goodH2896 alwaysH3605H3117 and 3for our survivalH2421, as it is todayH3117.
