2 Corinthians 12:6-10
6For ifG1437 I do wishG2309 to boastG2744 I will not be 1foolishG878, 2for I will be speakingG3004 the truthG225; but I refrainG5339 from this, soG3361 that noG3361 oneG5100 will creditG3049 me with moreG5228 thanG5228 he seesG991 in me orG2228 hearsG191 from me. 7Because of the surpassingG5236 greatnessG5236 of the 3revelationsG602, for thisG1352 reasonG1352, to keepG3361 me from exaltingG5229 myself, there was givenG1325 me a 4thornG4647 in the fleshG4561, a 5messengerG32 of SatanG4567 to 6tormentG2852 me--to keepG3361 me from exaltingG5229 myself! 8ConcerningG5228 thisG3778 I imploredG3870 the LordG2962 7threeG5151 timesG5151 that it might leaveG868 me. 9And He has saidG3004 to me, “My graceG5485 is sufficientG714 for you, for 8powerG1411 is perfectedG5055 in weaknessG769.” MostG2234 gladlyG2234, thereforeG3767, I will ratherG3123 9boastG2744 10aboutG1722 my weaknessesG769, soG2443 that the powerG1411 of ChristG5547 may dwellG1981 in me. 10ThereforeG1352 11I amG2106 wellG2106 contentG2106 with weaknessesG769, with 12insultsG5196, with 13distressesG318, with 14persecutionsG1375, with 15difficultiesG4730, 16for Christ’sG5547 sakeG5228; for 17whenG3752 I amG770 weakG770, thenG5119 I amG1510 strongG1415.
