1 Corinthians 1:14-20

141I thankG2168 GodG2316 that I 2baptizedG907 noneG3762 of you exceptG1508 3CrispusG2921 and 4GaiusG1050, 15soG2443 that noG3361 oneG5100 would sayG3004 you were baptizedG907 5in my nameG3686. 16NowG1161 I did baptizeG907 alsoG2532 the 6householdG3624 of StephanasG4734; beyondG3062 that, I do not knowG3609 whetherG1487 I baptizedG907 anyG5100 otherG243. 177For ChristG5547 did not sendG649 me to baptizeG907, but to preachG2097 the gospelG2097, 8not in 9clevernessG4678 of speechG3056, soG2443 that the crossG4716 of ChristG5547 would not be madeG2758 voidG2758.

18For the wordG3056 of the crossG4716 is 10foolishnessG3472 to 11thoseG3588 who 12are perishingG622, but to us who 13are being savedG4982 it is 14the powerG1411 of GodG2316. 19For it is writtenG1125, “15I will destroyG622 the wisdomG4678 of the wiseG4680, And the clevernessG4907 of the cleverG4908 I will setG114 asideG114.” 2016WhereG4226 is the wiseG4680 manG4680? WhereG4226 is the scribeG1122? WhereG4226 is the debaterG4804 of 17thisG3778 ageG165? Has not GodG2316 18madeG3471 foolishG3471 the wisdomG4678 of 19the worldG2889?
