2But He repliedἀποκριθεὶςapokritheisG611to them, “When it is eveningὀψίαςopsiasG3798,you sayλέγετε·legeteG3004, ‘It will befairG2105weatherG2105,for the skyοὐρανός.ouranosG3772is redπυρράζειpurrazeiG4449.’

3And in the morningπρωΐ·prōiG4404, ‘There will bea stormχειμών,cheimōnG5494todayσήμερονsēmeronG4594,for the skyοὐρανός.ouranosG3772is redπυρράζειpurrazeiG4449and threateningστυγνάζωνstugnazōnG4768.’Do you knowγινώσκετεginōsketeG1097howG1097to discernδιακρίνειν,diakrineinG1252theappearanceπρόσωπονprosōponG4383of the skyοὐρανοῦouranouG3772,but cannotοὐ δύνασθε;ou dunastheG1410 G3756discernthe signsσημεῖαsēmeiaG4592of the timesκαιρῶνkairōnG2540?

4An evilπονηρὰponēraG4190and adulterousμοιχαλὶςmoichalisG3428generationγενεὰgeneaG1074seeksἐπιζητεῖ·epizēteiG1934afterG1934asignσημεῖονsēmeionG4592; and asignσημεῖονsēmeionG4592will not be givenδοθήσεταιdothēsetaiG1325it, exceptG1508the signσημεῖονsēmeionG4592of JonahἸωνᾶIōnaG2495.”And He leftκαταλιπὼνkatalipōnG2641them and wentG565awayἀπῆλθεν.¶apēlthenG565.

5And the disciplesμαθηταὶmathētaiG3101cameἐλθόντεςelthontesG2064to the otherπέρανperanG4008sideG4008of the sea,but they had forgottenἐπελάθοντοepelathontoG1950to bringλαβεῖν.¶labeinG2983anybreadἄρτουςartousG740.

6And JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424saidG3004to them,“WatchὁρᾶτεhorateG3708out andbewareπροσέχετεprosecheteG4337of theleavenζύμηςzumēsG2219of thePhariseesΦαρισαίωνPharisaiōnG5330and SadduceesΣαδδουκαίων.SaddoukaiōnG4523.”

7They began to discussδιελογίζοντοdielogizontoG1260thisamongἐνenG1722themselvesἑαυτοῖςhe'autoisG1438,sayingλέγοντεςlegontesG3004, “He said thatbecauseὅτιhotiG3754we did not bringἐλάβομεν.¶elabomenG2983anybreadἄρτουςartousG740.”

8But JesusἸησοῦςIēsousG2424,awareΓνοὺςGnousG1097of this, saidG3004, “You menG3640of littleὀλιγόπιστοι,oligopistoiG3640faithG3640,whyτίtiG5101do you discussδιαλογίζεσθεdialogizestheG1260amongἐνenG1722yourselvesἑαυτοῖς,he'autoisG1438that you haveἔχετε;echeteG2192noοὐκoukG3756breadἄρτουςartousG740?
