22For I did notspeakדִבַּ֤רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696to your fathersאֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶם֙'a.vo.tei.KhemH1,or commandצִוִּיתִ֔יםtzi.vi.TimH6680them in the dayבְּי֛וֹםbe.YomH3117that I broughtהוֹצִיאִ֥יho.tzi'H3318them out of the landמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,concerningעַל־ דִּבְרֵ֥י'al- div.ReiH5921H1697burntעוֹלָ֖הo.LahH5930offeringsH5930and sacrificesוָזָֽבַח׃va.Za.vachH2077.
23But thisהַ֠זֶּהHa.zehH2088iswhatהַדָּבָ֣רha.da.VarH1697I commandedצִוִּ֨יתִיtzi.Vi.tiH6680them, sayingלֵאמֹר֙le.MorH559, ‘Obeyשִׁמְע֣וּshim.'UH8085My voiceבְקוֹלִ֔יve.ko.LiH6963, andI will be your Godלֵֽאלֹהִ֔יםle.lo.HimH430,and you will be My peopleלְעָ֑םle.'AmH5971;and you will walkוַהֲלַכְתֶּ֗םva.ha.lakh.TemH1980in allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605the wayהַדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ha.De.rekhH1870whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834I commandאֲצַוֶּ֣ה'a.tza.VehH6680you, that it maybe wellיִיטַ֥בyi.TavH3190with you.’
24Yet theydid not obeyשָֽׁמְעוּ֙sha.me.'UH8085or inclineהִטּ֣וּhi.TuH5186their earאָזְנָ֔ם'a.ze.NamH241,but walkedוַיֵּֽלְכוּ֙vai.ye.le.KhuH1980in their owncounselsבְּמֹ֣עֵצ֔וֹתbe.Mo.'e.TzotH4156andin the stubbornnessבִּשְׁרִר֖וּתbish.ri.RutH8307of their evilהָרָ֑עha.Ra'H7451heartלִבָּ֣םli.BamH3820, andwentוַיִּהְי֥וּvai.yih.YuH1961backwardלְאָח֖וֹרle.'a.ChorH268and not forwardלְפָנִֽים׃le.fa.NimH6440.
