8Fleeנֻ֤סוּNu.suH5127away, turnH6437backהָפְנוּ֙ha.fe.NuH6437,dwellלָשֶׁ֔בֶתla.She.vetH3427in the depthsהֶעְמִ֣יקוּhe'.Mi.kuH6009,O inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֵ֖יyo.she.VeiH3427ofDedanדְּדָ֑ןde.DanH1719, For Iwill bringהֵבֵ֥אתִיhe.Ve.tiH935thedisasterאֵ֥יד'eidH343of Esauעֵשָׂ֛ו'e.SavH6215upon himAt the timeעֵ֥ת'etH6256Ipunishפְּקַדְתִּֽיו׃pe.kad.TivH6485him.
9Ifאִם־'im-H518grape gatherersבֹּֽצְרִים֙bo.tze.RimH1219cameבָּ֣אוּBa.'uH935to you,Would they not leaveיַשְׁאִ֖רוּyash.'I.ruH7604gleaningsעֽוֹלֵל֑וֹתo.le.LotH5955?Ifאִם־'im-H518thievesגַּנָּבִ֥יםga.na.VimH1590cameby nightבַּלַּ֖יְלָהba.Lay.lahH3915,They would destroyהִשְׁחִ֥יתוּhish.Chi.tuH7843onlyuntil they had enoughדַיָּֽם׃dai.YamH1767.
10But I havestrippedחָשַׂ֣פְתִּיcha.Saf.tiH2834Esauעֵשָׂ֗ו'e.SavH6215bareH2834,I have uncoveredגִּלֵּ֙יתִי֙gi.Lei.tiH1540his hidingH4565placesH4565So that he will not be ableיוּכָ֑לyu.KhalH3201to concealוְנֶחְבָּ֖הve.nech.BahH2247himself; Hisoffspringזַרְע֛וֹzar.'OH2233has been destroyedשֻׁדַּ֥דshu.DadH7703along with hisrelativesוְאֶחָ֥יוve.'e.ChavH251And his neighborsוּשְׁכֵנָ֖יוu.she.khe.NavH7934, andhe is noH369moreH369.
12For thusכֹ֣ה׀khohH3541saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068, “Beholdהִ֠נֵּהHi.nehH2009, thosewhoאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834were not sentencedמִשְׁפָּטָ֜םmish.pa.TamH4941to drinkלִשְׁתּ֤וֹתlish.TotH8354thecupהַכּוֹס֙ha.kOsH3563will certainlyשָׁת֣וֹsha.ToH8354drinkיִשְׁתּ֔וּyish.TuH8354it,and are you the oneה֔וּאHu'H1931who will becompletelyנָקֹ֖הna.KohH5352acquittedתִּנָּקֶ֑הti.na.KehH5352?You will not be acquittedתִנָּקֶ֔הti.na.KehH5352,but you will certainlyשָׁתֹ֖הsha.TohH8354drinkתִּשְׁתֶּֽה׃tish.TehH8354it.
13For I haveswornנִשְׁבַּ֙עְתִּי֙nish.Ba'.tiH7650by Myself,” declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, “thatBozrahבָצְרָ֑הva.tze.RahH1224will becomeתִּֽהְיֶ֣הtih.YehH1961anobjectH8047of horrorH8047,a reproachלְחֶרְפָּ֛הle.cher.PahH2781,a ruinלְחֹ֥רֶבle.Cho.revH2721and a curseוְלִקְלָלָ֖הve.lik.la.LahH7045;and allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605its citiesעָרֶ֥יהָ'a.Rei.haH5892will becomeתִהְיֶ֖ינָהtih.Yei.nahH1961perpetualעוֹלָֽם׃o.LamH5769ruinsלְחָרְב֥וֹתle.cha.re.VotH2723.”
14I haveheardשָׁמַ֙עְתִּי֙sha.Ma'.tiH8085a messageשְׁמוּעָ֤הshe.mu.'AhH8052from the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, And anenvoyוְצִ֖ירve.TzirH6735is sentשָׁל֑וּחַsha.Lu.achH7971among the nationsבַּגּוֹיִ֣םba.go.YimH1471, saying, “Gatherהִֽתְקַבְּצוּ֙hit.ka.be.TzuH6908yourselves together and comeוּבֹ֣אוּu.Vo.'uH935againstעָלֶ֔יהָ'a.Lei.haH5921her,And riseוְק֖וּמוּve.Ku.muH6965up for battleלַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃la.mil.cha.MahH4421!”
16As for the terrorתִּֽפְלַצְתְּךָ֞tif.latz.te.KhaH8606of you,The arroganceזְד֣וֹןze.DonH2087of your heartלִבֶּ֔ךָli.Be.khaH3820has deceivedH5378you,O you who liveשֹֽׁכְנִי֙sho.khe.NiH7931in the cleftsבְּחַגְוֵ֣יbe.chag.VeiH2288of therockהַסֶּ֔לַעha.Se.la'H5553,Who occupyתֹּפְשִׂ֖יto.fe.SiH8610the heightמְר֣וֹםme.RomH4791of the hillגִּבְעָ֑הgiv.'AhH1389.Thoughכִּֽי־ki-H3588you makeתַגְבִּ֤יהַtag.Bi.haH1361your nestקִנֶּ֔ךָki.Ne.chaH7064ashighH1361as an eagle’sכַּנֶּ֙שֶׁר֙ka.Ne.sherH5404, I willbringאֽוֹרִידְךָ֖'o.ri.de.KhaH3381you downH3381from thereמִשָּׁ֥םmi.ShamH8033,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.
18Like theoverthrowכְּֽמַהְפֵּכַ֞תke.mah.pe.KhatH4114of Sodomסְדֹ֧םse.DomH5467and Gomorrahוַעֲמֹרָ֛הva.'a.mo.RahH6017with its neighborsוּשְׁכֵנֶ֖יהָu.she.khe.Nei.haH7934,”saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068, “noלֹֽא־lo'-H3808oneאִ֔ישׁ'IshH376will liveיֵשֵׁ֥בye.ShevH3427thereשָׁם֙shamH8033,norוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808will a sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָֽם׃'a.DamH120resideיָג֥וּרya.GurH1481in it.
19Beholdהִ֠נֵּהHi.nehH2009,one will comeיַעֲלֶ֨הya.'a.LehH5927up like a lionH743from thethicketsמִגְּא֣וֹןmi.ge.'onH1347of the Jordanהַיַּרְדֵּן֮hai.yar.DenH3383againstאֶל־'el-H413a perenniallyאֵיתָן֒'ei.TanH386watered pastureנְוֵ֣הne.VehH5116;for in an instantאַרְגִּ֤יעָה'ar.Gi.'ahH7280I will make him runאֲרִיצֶ֨נּוּ'a.ri.Tze.nuH7323away from it, and whoeverוּמִ֥יu.MiH4310ischosenבָח֖וּרva.ChurH977I shall appointאֶפְקֹ֑ד'ef.KodH6485overאֵלֶ֣יהָ'e.Lei.haH413it. For whoמִ֤יmiH4310islikeכָמ֙וֹנִי֙kha.Mo.niH3644Me, and whoוּמִ֣יu.MiH4310will summonיֹעִידֶ֔נִּיyo.'i.De.niH3259Me into court?And whoוּמִי־u.mi-H4310thenזֶ֣הzehH2088is the shepherdרֹעֶ֔הro.'EhH7462whoאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834can standיַעֲמֹ֖דya.'a.ModH5975againstלְפָנָֽי׃ סle.fa.NaiH6440Me?”
20Thereforeלָכֵ֞ןla.KhenH3651hearשִׁמְע֣וּshim.'UH8085theplanעֲצַת־'a.tzat-H6098of the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068whichאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834He has plannedיָעַץ֙ya.'AtzH3289againstאֶל־'el-H413EdomH112,and His purposesוּמַ֨חְשְׁבוֹתָ֔יוu.Mach.she.vo.TavH4284whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834He has purposedחָשַׁ֖בcha.ShavH2803againstאֶל־'el-H413the inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֵ֣יyo.she.VeiH3427of Temanתֵימָ֑ןtei.ManH8487:surelyאִם־ לֹ֤א'im- lo'H518H3808they will dragיִסְחָבוּם֙yis.cha.VumH5498them offH5498, eventhe littleH6810onesצְעִירֵ֣יtze.'i.ReiH6810of the flockהַצֹּ֔אןha.TzonH6629;surelyאִם־ לֹ֥א'im- lo'H518H3808He will makeH8074theirpastureנְוֵהֶֽם׃ne.ve.HemH5116desolateH8074becauseעֲלֵיהֶ֖ם'a.lei.HemH5921of them.
