James 1:22-27
22But be ye doersG4163 of [the] wordG3056 and not hearersG202 onlyG3440, beguiling yourselves. 23For if any manG435 beG1510 a hearerG202 of [the] wordG3056 and not a doerG4163, he isG1510 like to a manG435 considering his natural faceG4383 in a mirror: 24for he has considered himself and isG1510 goneG565 awayG565, and straightway he has forgottenG1950 what he wasG1510 like. 25But he that fixes his view on [the] perfectG5046 lawG3551, that of liberty, and abides in [it], beingG1510 not a forgetful hearerG202 but a doerG4163 of [the] workG2041, he shall beG1510 blessed in his doing. 26If any oneG5100 thinkG1380 himself to beG1510 religious, not bridling his tongueG1100, but deceiving his heartG2588, this man's religionG2356 isG1510 vain. 27PureG2513 and undefiledG283 religionG2356 before 1GodG2316 and the FatherG3962 isG1510 this: to visitG1980 orphansG3737 and widowsG5503 in their afflictionG2347, to keepG5083 oneself unspotted from the worldG2889.
