Ezra 9:10-15

10And nowH6258, what shall we sayH559, our 1GodH430, after this? for we have forsaken thy commandmentsH4687, 11which thou hast commandedH6680 by thy servantsH5650 the prophetsH5030, sayingH559, The landH776, unto which ye goH935 to possessH3423 [it], is an unclean landH776 through the filthiness of the peoplesH5971 of the landsH776, through their abominationsH8441 with which they have filledH4390 it from one end to another through their uncleanness. 12NowH6258 thereforeH6258 giveH5414 not your daughtersH1323 to their sonsH1121, neither takeH5375 their daughtersH1323 to your sonsH1121, nor seekH1875 their peaceH7965 or their prosperity for everH5769; that ye may be strongH2388, and eatH398 the goodH2896 of the landH776, and leave it for an inheritance to your children for everH5769. 13And after all that is comeH935 upon us for our evilH7451 deedsH4639 and for our greatH1419 trespass, seeing that thou our 2GodH430 hast punished us less than our iniquitiesH5771 [deserve], and hast givenH5414 us such deliveranceH6413 as this, 14should we again breakH6565 thy commandmentsH4687, and join in affinity with the peoplesH5971 of these abominationsH8441? wouldest thou not be angryH599 with us till thou hadst consumed us, so that there should be no remnantH7611 nor any to escapeH6413? 15Jehovah, 3GodH430 of IsraelH3478, thou art righteousH6662; for we are a remnantH7604 that is escapedH6413, as [it is] this dayH3117. Behold, we are before thee in our trespasses; for there is no standingH5975 before thee because of this.
