Ezra 3:10-13
10And when the buildersH1129 laid the foundation of the templeH1964 of Jehovah, they setH5975 the priestsH3548 in their apparel, with trumpetsH2689, and the LevitesH3881 the sonsH1121 of AsaphH623, with cymbalsH4700, to praiseH1984 Jehovah according to the directions of DavidH1732 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478. 11And they sang alternately together in praisingH1984 and givingH3034 thanksH3034 to Jehovah: For he is goodH2896, for his loving-kindness [endureth] for everH5769 toward IsraelH3478. And all the peopleH5971 shoutedH7321 with a greatH1419 shoutH7321 to the praiseH1984 of Jehovah, because the foundation of the houseH1004 of Jehovah was laid. 12But manyH7227 of the priestsH3548 and LevitesH3881 and chiefH7218 fathersH1, the ancient men that had seenH7200 the firstH7223 houseH1004, weptH1058 with a loud voiceH6963, [whenH834] the foundation of this houseH1004 was laid in their sight; and manyH7227 shoutedH8643 aloud for joyH8057. 13And the peopleH5971 could not discern the noise of the shoutH7321 of joyH8057 from the noise of the weepingH1065 of the peopleH5971; for the peopleH5971 shoutedH7321 with a greatH1419 shoutH7321, and the noise was heardH8085 afarH7350 off.
