2And Shechaniah the sonH1121 of JehielH3171, of the sonsH1121 of ElamH5867, answered and saidH559 to EzraH5830, We have actedH4603 unfaithfullyH4603 toward our 1GodH430, and have taken foreignH5237 wivesH802 of the peoplesH5971 of the landH776; yet nowH6258 there is hope for IsraelH3478 concerning this thing.
3And nowH6258 let us makeH6213 a covenantH1285 with our 2GodH430 to put away all the wivesH802, and such as are bornH3205 of them, according to the counselH6098 of [my] lordH113, and of those that tremble at the commandmentsH4687 of our 3GodH430; and let it be done according to the lawH8451.
