Ecclesiastes 6:7-12
7All the labour of manH120 is for his mouthH6310, and yet the appetiteH5315 is not filledH4390. 8For what advantageH3148 hath the wiseH2450 above the foolH3684? what hath the poorH6041, that knoweth to walkH1980 before the living? 9Better is the seeing of the eyesH5869 than the wandering of the desireH5315: this alsoH1571 is vanityH1892 and pursuit of the windH7307. 10That which is hath alreadyH3528 beenH1961 namedH8034; and what manH120 is, is knownH3045, and that he cannot contend with him that is mightier than he. 11For there are manyH7235 thingsH1697 that increaseH7235 vanityH1892: what is manH120 advantaged? 12For who knoweth what is goodH2896 for manH120 in life, all the daysH3117 of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadowH6738? for who can tellH5046 manH120 what shall beH1961 after him under the sunH8121?
