Deuteronomy 9:9-18

When I went upH5927 on the mountainH2022 to receiveH3947 the tabletsH3871 of stoneH68, the tabletsH3871 of the covenantH1285 thatH834 the LORDH3068 madeH3772 with youH5973, I stayedH3427 on the mountainH2022 fortyH705 daysH3117 and fortyH705 nightsH3915. I ateH398 noH3808 breadH3899 and drankH8354 noH3808 waterH4325.

Then the LORDH3068H413 gave meH5414 the twoH8147 stoneH68 tabletsH3871, inscribedH3789 by the fingerH676 of GodH430 with the exactH3605 wordsH1697 thatH834 the LORDH3068 spokeH1696 to youH5973 out ofH8432 the fireH784 on the mountainH2022 on the dayH3117 of the assemblyH6951. 11AndH1961 at the endH7093 of fortyH705 daysH3117 and fortyH705 nightsH3915, the LORDH3068H413 gave meH5414 the twoH8147 stoneH68 tabletsH3871, the tabletsH3871 of the covenantH1285. 12And the LORDH3068 saidH559 to meH413, “Get upH6965 and go downH3381 from hereH2088 at onceH4118, forH3588 your peopleH5971, whomH834 you broughtH3318 out of EgyptH4714, have corruptedH7843 themselves. How quicklyH4118 they have turned asideH5493 fromH4480 the wayH1870 thatH834 I commanded themH6680! They have madeH6213 for themselves a molten imageH4541.”

The LORDH3068 also saidH559 to meH413H559, “I have seenH7200 thisH2088 peopleH5971, and theyH1931 are indeedH2009 a stiff-neckedH7186H6203 peopleH5971. 14Leave Me aloneH7503, so that I may destroy themH8045 and blot outH4229 their nameH8034 fromH4480 underH8478 heavenH8064. Then I will makeH6213 you into a nationH1471 mightierH6099 and greaterH7227 than theyH4480 are.”

So I went backH6437 downH3381H4480 the mountainH2022 while itH2022 was blazingH1197 with fireH784, with the twoH8147 tabletsH3871 of the covenantH1285 inH5921H8147 my handsH3027. 16And I sawH7200 howH2009 you had sinnedH2398 against the LORDH3068 your GodH430; you had madeH6213 for yourselves a moltenH4541 calfH5695. You had turned asideH5493 quicklyH4118 fromH4480 the wayH1870 thatH834 the LORDH3068 had commanded youH6680. 17So I tookH8610 the twoH8147 tabletsH3871 and threw themH7993 out ofH5921H8147 my handsH3027, shattering themH7665 before your eyesH5869.

Then I fell downH5307 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068 for fortyH705 daysH3117 and fortyH705 nightsH3915, as I had done the first timeH7223. I did notH3808 eatH398 breadH3899 or drinkH8354 waterH4325H3808 because ofH5921 allH3605 the sinH2403 you had committedH2398 in doingH6213 what was evilH7451 in the sightH5869 of the LORDH3068 and provoking Him to angerH3707.
