10Then the LORDיְהוָ֜ה אֵלַ֗יYah.weh 'e.LaiH3068 H413אֶת־'et-H853gave meוַיִּתֵּ֨ןvai.yi.TenH5414the twoשְׁנֵי֙she.NeiH8147stoneהָֽאֲבָנִ֔יםha.'a.va.NimH68tabletsלוּחֹ֣תlu.ChotH3871,inscribedכְּתֻבִ֖יםke.tu.VimH3789by the fingerבְּאֶצְבַּ֣עbe.'etz.Ba'H676of Godאֱלֹהִ֑ים'E.lo.HimH430with the exactכְּֽכָל־ke.khol-H3605wordsהַדְּבָרִ֡יםha.de.va.RimH1697וַעֲלֵיהֶ֗םva.'a.lei.HemH5921thatאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834the LORDיְהוָ֨הYah.wehH3068spokeדִּבֶּר֩di.BerH1696to youעִמָּכֶ֥ם'i.ma.KhemH5973out ofמִתּ֥וֹךְmi.TokhH8432the fireהָאֵ֖שׁha.'EshH784on the mountainבָּהָ֛רba.HarH2022on the dayבְּי֥וֹםbe.YomH3117of the assemblyהַקָּהָֽל׃ha.ka.HalH6951.

11Andוַיְהִ֗יvay.HiH1961at the endמִקֵּץ֙mi.KetzH7093of fortyאַרְבָּעִ֣ים'ar.ba.'ImH705daysי֔וֹםYomH3117and fortyוְאַרְבָּעִ֖יםve.'ar.ba.'ImH705nightsלָ֑יְלָהLa.ye.lahH3915,the LORDיְהוָ֜ה אֵלַ֗יYah.weh 'e.LaiH3068 H413אֶת־'et-H853gave meנָתַ֨ןna.TanH5414the twoשְׁנֵ֛יshe.NeiH8147stoneהָאֲבָנִ֖יםha.'a.va.NimH68tabletsלֻחֹ֥תlu.ChotH3871,the tabletsלֻח֥וֹתlu.ChotH3871of the covenantהַבְּרִֽית׃ha.be.RitH1285.

12And the LORDיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to meאֵלַ֗י'e.LaiH413, “Get upק֣וּםkumH6965and go downרֵ֤דredH3381from hereמִזֶּ֔הmi.ZehH2088at onceמַהֵר֙ma.HerH4118,forכִּ֚יkiH3588your peopleעַמְּךָ֔'a.me.KhaH5971,whomאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834you broughtהוֹצֵ֖אתָho.Tze.taH3318out of Egyptמִמִּצְרָ֑יִםmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,have corruptedשִׁחֵ֣תshi.ChetH7843themselves.How quicklyמַהֵ֗רma.HerH4118they have turned asideסָ֣רוּSa.ruH5493fromמִן־min-H4480the wayהַדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ha.De.rekhH1870thatאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834I commanded themצִוִּיתִ֔םtzi.vi.TimH6680!They have madeעָשׂ֥וּ'a.SuH6213for themselvesa molten imageמַסֵּכָֽה׃ma.se.KhahH4541.”

13The LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068also saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to meאֵלַ֣י לֵאמֹ֑ר'e.Lai le.MorH413 H559, “I have seenרָאִ֙יתִי֙ra.'I.tiH7200אֶת־'et-H853thisהַזֶּ֔הha.ZehH2088peopleהָעָ֣םha.'AmH5971,and theyהֽוּא׃Hu'H1931are indeedוְהִנֵּ֥הve.hi.NehH2009a stiff-neckedקְשֵׁה־ עֹ֖רֶףke.sheh- 'O.refH7186 H6203peopleעַם־'am-H5971.

14Leave Me aloneהֶ֤רֶףHe.refH7503,so that I may destroy themוְאַשְׁמִידֵ֔םve.'ash.mi.DemH8045and blot outוְאֶמְחֶ֣הve.'em.ChehH4229אֶת־'et-H853their nameשְׁמָ֔םshe.MamH8034fromמִמֶּ֙נִּי֙mi.Me.niH4480underמִתַּ֖חַתmi.Ta.chatH8478heavenהַשָּׁמָ֑יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064.Then I will makeוְאֶֽעֱשֶׂה֙ve.'e.'e.SehH6213אֽוֹתְךָ֔'ot.KhaH853you into a nationלְגוֹי־le.goy-H1471mightierעָצ֥וּם'a.TzumH6099and greaterוָרָ֖בva.RavH7227than theyמִמֶּֽנּוּ׃mi.Me.nuH4480are.”

15So I went backוָאֵ֗פֶןva.'E.fenH6437downוָֽאֵרֵד֙ מִן־va.'e.Red min-H3381 H4480the mountainהָהָ֔רha.HarH2022while itוְהָהָ֖רve.ha.HarH2022was blazingבֹּעֵ֣רbo.'ErH1197with fireבָּאֵ֑שׁba.'EshH784,with the twoוּשְׁנֵי֙u.she.NeiH8147tabletsלֻחֹ֣תlu.ChotH3871of the covenantהַבְּרִ֔יתha.be.RitH1285inעַ֖ל שְׁתֵּ֥י'al she.TeiH5921 H8147my handsיָדָֽי׃ya.DaiH3027.

16And I sawוָאֵ֗רֶאva.'E.re'H7200howוְהִנֵּ֤הve.hi.NehH2009you had sinnedחֲטָאתֶם֙cha.ta.TemH2398against the LORDלַיהוָ֣הla.Yah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם'e.lo.hei.KhemH430;you had madeעֲשִׂיתֶ֣ם'a.si.TemH6213for yourselvesa moltenמַסֵּכָ֑הma.se.KhahH4541calfעֵ֖גֶל'E.gelH5695.You had turned asideסַרְתֶּ֣םsar.TemH5493quicklyמַהֵ֔רma.HerH4118fromמִן־min-H4480the wayהַדֶּ֕רֶךְha.De.rekhH1870thatאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068אֶתְכֶֽם׃'et.KhemH853had commanded youצִוָּ֥הtzi.VahH6680.

17So I tookוָאֶתְפֹּשׂ֙va.'et.PosH8610the twoבִּשְׁנֵ֣יbish.NeiH8147tabletsהַלֻּחֹ֔תha.lu.ChotH3871and threw themוָֽאַשְׁלִכֵ֔םva.'ash.li.KhemH7993out ofמֵעַ֖ל שְׁתֵּ֣יme.'Al she.TeiH5921 H8147my handsיָדָ֑יya.DaiH3027,shattering themוָאֲשַׁבְּרֵ֖םva.'a.sha.be.RemH7665before your eyesלְעֵינֵיכֶֽם׃le.'ei.nei.KhemH5869.

18Then I fell downוָֽאֶתְנַפַּל֩va.'et.na.PalH5307beforeלִפְנֵ֨יlif.NeiH6440the LORDיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068for fortyאַרְבָּעִ֥ים'ar.ba.'ImH705daysיוֹם֙yOmH3117and fortyוְאַרְבָּעִ֣יםve.'ar.ba.'ImH705nightsלַ֔יְלָהLay.lahH3915,as I had done the first timeכָּרִאשֹׁנָ֗הka.ri.sho.NahH7223.I did notלֹ֣אlo'H3808eatאָכַ֔לְתִּי'a.Khal.tiH398breadלֶ֚חֶםLe.chemH3899or drinkשָׁתִ֑יתִיsha.Ti.tiH8354waterוּמַ֖יִם לֹ֣אu.Ma.yim lo'H4325 H3808because ofעַ֤ל'alH5921allכָּל־kol-H3605the sinחַטַּאתְכֶם֙cha.tat.KhemH2403אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834you had committedחֲטָאתֶ֔םcha.ta.TemH2398in doingלַעֲשׂ֥וֹתla.'a.SotH6213what was evilהָרַ֛עha.Ra'H7451in the sightבְּעֵינֵ֥יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068and provoking Him to angerלְהַכְעִיסֽוֹ׃le.hakh.'i.SoH3707.
