2“Tellדַּבֵּ֨ר אֶֽל־da.Ber 'el-H1696 H413Aaronאַהֲרֹ֜ן וְאֶל־'a.ha.Ron ve.'el-H175 H413and his sonsבָּנָ֗יוba.NavH1121to treat with respectוְיִנָּֽזְרוּ֙ve.yi.na.ze.RuH5144the sacred offeringsמִקָּדְשֵׁ֣יmi.ka.de.SheiH6944that the Israelitesבְנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔לve.nei- Yis.ra.'ElH1121 H3478אֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834הֵ֧םhemH1992have consecrated to Meמַקְדִּשִׁ֛יםmak.di.ShimH6942,so that they do notוְלֹ֥אve.Lo'H3808profaneיְחַלְּל֖וּye.cha.le.LuH2490אֶת־'et-H853My holyקָדְשִׁ֑יkod.shiH6944nameשֵׁ֣םshemH8034.Iאֲנִ֥י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

4If a descendantמִזֶּ֣רַעmi.Ze.ra'H2233 H376of Aaronאַהֲרֹ֗ן וְה֤וּא'a.ha.Ron ve.Hu'H175 H1931has a skin diseaseצָר֙וּעַ֙tza.Ru.a'H6879orא֣וֹ'oH176a dischargeזָ֔בZavH2100,he may not eatלֹ֣א יֹאכַ֔לlo' yo.KhalH398 H3808the sacred offeringsבַּקֳּדָשִׁים֙ba.ko.da.ShimH6944untilעַ֖ד'adH5704אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834he is cleanיִטְהָ֑רyit.HarH2891.Whoever touchesוְהַנֹּגֵ֙עַ֙ve.ha.no.Ge.a'H5060anythingבְּכָל־be.kholH3605defiledטְמֵא־te.me'-H2931by a corpseנֶ֔פֶשׁNe.feshH5315orא֣וֹ'oH176by a manH376whoאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834hasתֵּצֵ֥אte.Tze'H3318מִמֶּ֖נּוּmi.Me.nuH4480an emissionשִׁכְבַת־shikh.vat-H7902of semenזָֽרַע׃Za.ra'H2233,

5orאוֹ־'ov-H176whoeverאִישׁ֙'ishH376אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834touchesיִגַּ֔עyi.Ga'H5060aבְּכָל־be.kholH3605crawling creatureשֶׁ֖רֶץShe.retzH8318אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834יִטְמָא־yit.ma'-H2930orא֤וֹ'oH176a personבְאָדָם֙ve.'a.DamH120thatאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834makes him uncleanיִטְמָא־yit.ma'-H2930,whateverלְכֹ֖לle.KholH3605the uncleanness may beטֻמְאָתֽוֹ׃tum.'a.ToH2932—

6the manנֶ֚פֶשׁNe.feshH5315whoאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834touchesתִּגַּע־ti.ga'-H5060any of thesewill remain uncleanוְטָמְאָ֖הve.ta.me.'AhH2930untilעַד־'ad-H5704eveningהָעָ֑רֶבha.'A.revH6153.He must notוְלֹ֤אve.Lo'H3808eatיֹאכַל֙yo.KhalH398fromמִן־min-H4480the sacred offeringsהַקֳּדָשִׁ֔יםha.ko.da.ShimH6944unlessכִּ֛י אִם־ki 'im-H3588 H518he has bathedרָחַ֥ץra.ChatzH7364himselfבְּשָׂר֖וֹbe.sa.RoH1320with waterבַּמָּֽיִם׃ba.Ma.yimH4325.

7When the sunהַשֶּׁ֖מֶשׁha.She.meshH8121has setוּבָ֥אu.Va'H935,he will become cleanוְטָהֵ֑רve.ta.HerH2891,and thenוְאַחַר֙ve.'a.CharH310he may eatיֹאכַ֣לyo.KhalH398fromמִן־min-H4480the sacred offeringsהַקֳּדָשִׁ֔יםha.ko.da.ShimH6944,forכִּ֥יkiH3588theyהֽוּא׃Hu'H1931are his foodלַחְמ֖וֹlach.MoH3899.

8He must notלֹ֥אlo'H3808eatיֹאכַ֖לyo.KhalH398anything found deadנְבֵלָ֧הne.ve.LahH5038or torn by wild animalsוּטְרֵפָ֛הu.te.re.FahH2966,which would make him uncleanלְטָמְאָה־le.ta.me.'ah-H2930.Iאֲנִ֖י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

9The priestsmust keepוְשָׁמְר֣וּve.sha.me.RuH8104אֶת־'et-H853My chargeמִשְׁמַרְתִּ֗יmish.mar.TiH4931,lestוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808they bearיִשְׂא֤וּyis.'UH5375עָלָיו֙'a.LavH5921the guiltחֵ֔טְאChet'H2399and dieוּמֵ֥תוּu.Me.tuH4191becauseכִּ֣יkiH3588they profane itיְחַלְּלֻ֑הוּye.cha.le.Lu.huH2490.Iאֲנִ֥י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068who sanctifies themמְקַדְּשָֽׁם׃me.ka.de.ShamH6942.

10Noלֹא־lo'-H3808oneוְכָל־ve.kholH3605outsideזָ֖רzarH2114a priest’s familymay eatיֹ֣אכַלYo.khalH398the sacred offeringקֹ֑דֶשׁKo.deshH6944,norלֹא־lo'-H3808may the guestתּוֹשַׁ֥בto.ShavH8453of a priestכֹּהֵ֛ןko.HenH3548or his hired handוְשָׂכִ֖ירve.sa.KhirH7916eatיֹ֥אכַלYo.khalH398itקֹֽדֶשׁ׃Ko.deshH6944.

11But ifכִּֽי־ki-H3588a priestוְכֹהֵ֗ןve.kho.HenH3548buysיִקְנֶ֥הyik.NehH7069a slaveנֶ֙פֶשׁ֙ne.feshH5315withקִנְיַ֣ןkin.YanH7075his own moneyכַּסְפּ֔וֹkas.PoH3701,or ifהֵ֖םhemH1992a slaveis bornוִילִ֣ידvi.LidH3211in his householdבֵּית֔וֹbei.ToH1004,thatה֖וּאhu'H1931slavemay eatיֹ֣אכַלYo.khalH398יֹאכְל֥וּyo.khe.LuH398his foodבְלַחְמֽוֹ׃ve.lach.MoH3899.

12Ifכִּ֥יkiH3588the priest’sכֹּהֵ֔ןko.HenH3548daughterוּבַת־u.vat-H1323is marriedתִהְיֶ֖הtih.YehH1961to a manלְאִ֣ישׁle.'IshH376otherזָ֑רZarH2114than a priest,sheהִ֕ואhi'H1931is notלֹ֥אlo'H3808to eatתֹאכֵֽל׃to.KhelH398of the sacredהַקֳּדָשִׁ֖יםha.ko.da.ShimH6944contributionsבִּתְרוּמַ֥תbit.ru.MatH8641.

13But ifכִּ֨יkiH3588a priest’sכֹּהֵן֩ko.HenH3548daughterוּבַת־u.vat-H1323with noאֵ֣ין'einH369childrenוְזֶרַע֮ve.ze.Ra'H2233becomesתִהְיֶ֜הtih.YehH1961widowedאַלְמָנָ֣ה'al.ma.NahH490or divorcedוּגְרוּשָׁ֗הu.ge.ru.ShahH1644and returnsוְשָׁבָ֞הve.sha.VahH7725toאֶל־'el-H413her father’sאָבִ֙יהָ֙'a.Vi.haH1houseבֵּ֤יתbeitH1004,she may shareתֹּאכֵ֑לto.KhelH398her father’sאָבִ֖יהָ'a.Vi.haH1foodמִלֶּ֥חֶםmi.Le.chemH3899as in her youthכִּנְעוּרֶ֔יהָkin.'u.Rei.haH5271.But noוְכָל־ לֹא־ve.khol lo'-H3605 H3808outsiderזָ֖רzarH2114may shareיֹ֥אכַלYo.khalH398it.
