1If onlyלוּא־lu'-H3863You would rendקָרַ֤עְתָּka.Ra'.taH7167the heavensשָׁמַ֙יִם֙sha.Ma.yimH8064and come downיָרַ֔דְתָּya.Rad.taH3381,so that mountainsהָרִ֥יםha.RimH2022would quakeנָזֹֽלּוּ׃na.Zo.luH2151at Your presenceH6440,

2as fireאֵ֣שׁ'eshH784kindlesכִּקְדֹ֧חַkik.Do.achH6919the brushwoodהֲמָסִ֗יםha.ma.SimH2003andאֵ֔שׁ'EshH784causes the waterמַ֚יִםMa.yimH4325to boilתִּבְעֶה־tiv.'eh-H1158,to make Your nameשִׁמְךָ֖shim.KhaH8034knownלְהוֹדִ֥יעַle.ho.Di.a'H3045to Your enemiesלְצָרֶ֑יךָle.tza.Rei.khaH6862,so that the nationsגּוֹיִ֥םgo.YimH1471will trembleיִרְגָּֽזוּ׃yir.Ga.zuH7264at Your presenceH6440!

3When You didH6213awesome worksנוֹרָא֖וֹתno.ra.'otH3372that we did notH3808expectנְקַוֶּ֑הne.ka.VehH6960,You came downיָרַ֕דְתָּya.Rad.taH3381,and the mountainsהָרִ֥יםha.RimH2022trembledנָזֹֽלּוּ׃na.Zo.luH2151at Your presenceמִפָּנֶ֖יךָmi.pa.Nei.khaH6440.

4From ancient timesH5769noלֹא־lo'-H3808one has heardשָׁמְע֖וּsha.me.'UH8085,noלֹ֣אlo'H3808ear has perceivedהֶאֱזִ֑ינוּhe.'e.Zi.nuH238,noלֹֽא־lo'-H3808eyeעַ֣יִן'A.yinH5869has seenרָאָ֗תָהra.'A.tahH7200any Godאֱלֹהִים֙'E.lo.HimH430besides Youזוּלָ֣תְךָ֔zu.La.te.khaH2108,who actsH6213on behalf of those who waitלִמְחַכֵּה־lim.cha.keh-H2442for Him.

5You welcomeפָּגַ֤עְתָּpa.Ga'.taH6293אֶת־'et-H853those who gladlyשָׂשׂ֙sasH7797doוְעֹ֣שֵׂהve.'O.sehH6213rightצֶ֔דֶקTze.dekH6664,who rememberיִזְכְּר֑וּךָyiz.ke.Ru.khaH2142Your waysבִּדְרָכֶ֖יךָbid.ra.Khei.khaH1870.Surelyהֵן־hen-H2005Youאַתָּ֤ה'a.TahH859were angryקָצַ֙פְתָּ֙ka.Tzaf.taH7107,for we sinnedוַֽנֶּחֱטָ֔אva.ne.che.Ta'H2398.How can we be savedוְנִוָּשֵֽׁעַ׃ve.ni.va.She.a'H3467if we remain in our sinsעוֹלָ֖םo.LamH5769?
