Leviticus 17:4-14

4and hath not broughtH935 it unto the doorH6607 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150, to offer it as an oblation unto Jehovah before the tabernacleH4908 of Jehovah: bloodH1818 shall be imputed unto that manH376; he hath shedH8210 bloodH1818; and that manH376 shall be cutH3772 off from among his peopleH5971: 5to the end that the children of IsraelH3478 may bringH935 their sacrificesH2077, which they sacrificeH2077 in the open fieldH7704, even that they may bringH935 them unto Jehovah, unto the doorH6607 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150, unto the priestH3548, and sacrificeH2077 them for sacrificesH2077 of peace-offerings unto Jehovah. 6And the priestH3548 shall sprinkleH2236 the bloodH1818 upon the altarH4196 of Jehovah at the doorH6607 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150, and burn the fatH2459 for a sweet savor unto Jehovah. 7And they shall no more sacrificeH2077 their sacrificesH2077 unto the he-goats, after which they playH2181 the harlot. This shall beH1961 a statuteH2708 foreverH5769 unto them throughout their generationsH1755.

8And thou shalt sayH559 unto them, Whatsoever manH376 there be of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, or of the strangers that sojourn among them, that offereth a burnt-offering or sacrificeH2077, 9and bringeth it not unto the doorH6607 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150, to sacrifice it unto Jehovah; that manH376 shall be cutH3772 off from his peopleH5971.

10And whatsoever manH376 there be of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, or of the strangers that sojourn among them, that eateth any manner of bloodH1818, I will setH5414 my faceH6440 against that soulH5315 that eateth bloodH1818, and will cutH3772 him off from among his peopleH5971. 11For the lifeH5315 of the fleshH1320 is in the bloodH1818; and I have givenH5414 it to you upon the altarH4196 to makeH5414 atonementH3722 for your soulsH5315: for it is the bloodH1818 that maketh atonementH3722 by reason of the lifeH5315. 12ThereforeH3651 I saidH559 unto the children of IsraelH3478, No soulH5315 of you shall eatH398 bloodH1818, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eatH398 bloodH1818. 13And whatsoever manH376 there be of the children of IsraelH3478, or of the strangers that sojourn among them, who taketh in hunting any beast or birdH5775 that may be eatenH398; he shall pourH8210 out the bloodH1818 thereof, and coverH3680 it with dustH6083.

14For as to the lifeH5315 of all fleshH1320, the bloodH1818 thereof is all one with the lifeH5315 thereof: therefore I saidH559 unto the children of IsraelH3478, Ye shall eatH398 the bloodH1818 of no manner of fleshH1320; for the lifeH5315 of all fleshH1320 is the bloodH1818 thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cutH3772 off.
