Joshua 5:10-15
10And the children of IsraelH3478 encampedH2583 in GilgalH1537; and they kept the passoverH6453 on the fourteenth dayH3117 of the monthH2320 at even in the plainsH6160 of JerichoH3405. 11And they did eatH398 of the produceH5669 of the landH776 on the morrow after the passoverH6453, unleavenedH4682 cakes and parched grain, in the selfsame dayH3117. 12And the mannaH4478 ceased on the morrow, after they had eatenH398 of the produceH8393 of the landH776; neither had the children of IsraelH3478 mannaH4478 any more; but they did eatH398 of the fruit of the landH776 of CanaanH3667 that yearH8141.
13And it came to pass, when JoshuaH3091 wasH1961 by JerichoH3405, that he liftedH5375 up his eyesH5869 and lookedH7200, and, behold, there stoodH5975 a manH376 over against him with his swordH2719 drawnH8025 in his handH3027: and JoshuaH3091 went unto him, and saidH559 unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? 14And he saidH559, Nay; but as princeH8269 of the hostH6635 of Jehovah am I nowH6258 comeH935. And JoshuaH3091 fellH5307 on his faceH6440 to the earthH776, and did worship, and saidH559 unto him, What saith my lord unto his servantH5650? 15And the princeH8269 of Jehovah’s hostH6635 saidH559 unto JoshuaH3091, Put off thy shoe from off thy footH7272; for the placeH4725 whereon thou standest is holyH6944. And JoshuaH3091 did soH3651.
