5And the borderH1366 of the children of EphraimH669 according to their familiesH4940 wasH1961 thus: the borderH1366 of their inheritanceH5159 eastward wasH1961 Ataroth-addarH5853, unto Beth-horonH1032 the upperH5945; 6and the borderH1366 wentH3318 out westward at Michmethath on the northH6828; and the borderH1366 turnedH5437 about eastward unto Taanath-shiloh, and passedH5674 along it on the eastH4217 of JanoahH3239; 7and it wentH3318 downH3381 from JanoahH3239 to AtarothH5852, and to NaarahH5292, and reached unto JerichoH3405, and wentH3318 out at the JordanH3383. 8From TappuahH8599 the borderH1366 went along westward to the brook of KanahH7071; and the goings out thereof wereH1961 at the seaH3220. This is the inheritanceH5159 of the tribeH4294 of the children of EphraimH669 according to their familiesH4940; 9together with the citiesH5892 which were set apart for the children of EphraimH669 in the midstH8432 of the inheritanceH5159 of the children of ManassehH4519, all the citiesH5892 with their villages. 10And they drove not out the CanaanitesH3669 that dweltH3427 in GezerH1507: but the CanaanitesH3669 dwellH3427 in the midstH7130 of EphraimH669 unto this dayH3117, and are becomeH1961 servants to do taskwork.
