Joshua 11:18-23
18JoshuaH3091 madeH6213 warH4421 a long time with all those kingsH4428. 19There wasH1961 not a cityH5892 that made peace with the children of IsraelH3478, save the Hivites the inhabitantsH3427 of GibeonH1391: they tookH3947 all in battleH4421. 20For it wasH1961 of Jehovah to harden their heartsH3820, to come against IsraelH3478 in battleH4421, that he might utterly destroyH8045 them, that they might have no favor, but that he might destroyH8045 them, as Jehovah commandedH6680 MosesH4872.
21And JoshuaH3091 cameH935 at that timeH6256, and cutH3772 off the Anakim from the hill-country, from HebronH2275, from DebirH1688, from AnabH6024, and from all the hill-country of JudahH3063, and from all the hill-country of IsraelH3478: JoshuaH3091 utterly destroyed them with their citiesH5892. 22There was none of the Anakim leftH7604 in the landH776 of the children of IsraelH3478: onlyH7535 in GazaH5804, in GathH1661, and in AshdodH795, did some remainH7604. 23So JoshuaH3091 tookH3947 the whole landH776, according to all that Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872; and JoshuaH3091 gaveH5414 it for an inheritanceH5159 unto IsraelH3478 according to their divisionsH4256 by their tribesH7626. And the landH776 had rest from warH4421.
