Hebrews 9:19-23

19For when every commandmentG1785 had been spokenG2980 by MosesG3475 unto all the peopleG2992 accordingG2596 to the lawG3551, he tookG2983 the bloodG129 of the calvesG3448 and the goatsG5131, with waterG5204 and scarletG2847 woolG2053 and hyssopG5301, and sprinkled both the bookG975 itself and all the peopleG2992, 20sayingG3004, This is the bloodG129 of the covenantG1242 which GodG2316 commandedG1781 to you-ward. 21Moreover the tabernacleG4633 and all the vesselsG4632 of the ministryG3009 he sprinkled in like manner with the bloodG129. 22And accordingG2596 to the lawG3551, I may almostG4975 say, all thingsG3956 are cleansedG2511 with bloodG129, and apartG5565 from shedding of bloodG129 there is no remission.

23It was necessaryG318 thereforeG3767 that the copies of the thingsG3778 in the heavensG3772 should be cleansedG2511 with these; but the heavenlyG2032 thingsG3778 themselves with better sacrificesG2378 than these.
