Exodus 9:18-32
18Behold, to-morrow about this timeH6256 I will cause it to rainH4305 a veryH3966 grievous hailH1259, such as hath not beenH1961 in EgyptH4714 since the dayH3117 it wasH1961 foundedH3245 even until nowH6258. 19NowH6258 thereforeH6258 sendH7971, hasten in thy cattleH929 and all that thou hast in the fieldH7704; for every manH120 and beast that shall be foundH4672 in the fieldH7704, and shall not be broughtH3381 home, the hailH1259 shall comeH3381 down upon them, and they shall dieH4191. 20He that fearedH3372 the wordH1697 of Jehovah among the servantsH5650 of PharaohH6547 made his servantsH5650 and his cattle fleeH5127 into the housesH1004: 21and he that regarded not the wordH1697 of Jehovah leftH5800 his servantsH5650 and his cattle in the fieldH7704.
22And Jehovah saidH559 unto MosesH4872, StretchH5186 forth thy handH3027 toward heavenH8064, that there may beH1961 hailH1259 in all the landH776 of EgyptH4714, upon manH120, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the fieldH7704, throughout the landH776 of EgyptH4714. 23And MosesH4872 stretchedH5186 forth his rodH4294 toward heavenH8064: and Jehovah sent thunderH6963 and hailH1259, and fireH784 ran downH5186 unto the earthH776; and Jehovah rainedH4305 hailH1259 upon the landH776 of EgyptH4714. 24So there wasH1961 hailH1259, and fireH784 mingled with the hailH1259, veryH3966 grievous, such as had not beenH1961 in all the landH776 of EgyptH4714 since it becameH1961 a nationH1471. 25And the hailH1259 smote throughout all the landH776 of EgyptH4714 all that was in the fieldH7704, both manH120 and beast; and the hailH1259 smote every herb of the fieldH7704, and brake every treeH6086 of the fieldH7704. 26OnlyH7535 in the landH776 of GoshenH1657, whereH834 the children of IsraelH3478 were, wasH1961 there no hailH1259.
27And PharaohH6547 sentH7971, and calledH7121 for MosesH4872 and AaronH175, and saidH559 unto them, I have sinnedH2398 this timeH6471: Jehovah is righteousH6662, and I and my peopleH5971 are wickedH7563. 28EntreatH6279 Jehovah; for there hath beenH1961 enoughH7227 of these mighty thunderings and hailH1259; and I will let you goH7971, and ye shall stay no longer. 29And MosesH4872 saidH559 unto him, As soon as I amH1961 goneH3318 out of the cityH5892, I will spreadH6566 abroad my handsH3709 unto Jehovah; the thunders shall ceaseH2308, neither shall there beH1961 any more hailH1259; that thou mayest knowH3045 that the earthH776 is Jehovah’s. 30But as for thee and thy servantsH5650, I knowH3045 that ye will not yet fearH3372 Jehovah GodH430. 31And the flaxH6594 and the barleyH8184 were smitten: for the barleyH8184 was in the earH24, and the flaxH6594 was in bloom. 32But the wheatH2406 and the speltH3698 were not smitten: for they were not grown up.
