Exodus 4:1-16

1And MosesH4872 answered and saidH559, But, behold, they will not believeH539 me, nor hearken unto my voiceH6963; for they will sayH559, Jehovah hath not appearedH7200 unto thee. 2And Jehovah saidH559 unto him, What is that in thy handH3027? And he saidH559, A rodH4294. 3And he saidH559, CastH7993 it on the groundH776. And he castH7993 it on the groundH776, and it becameH1961 a serpent; and MosesH4872 fledH5127 from before it. 4And Jehovah saidH559 unto MosesH4872, Put forthH7971 thy handH3027, and takeH2388 it by the tailH2180: (and he put forthH7971 his handH3027, and laid holdH2388 of it, and it becameH1961 a rodH4294 in his handH3027); 5that they may believeH539 that Jehovah, the GodH430 of their fathersH1, the GodH430 of AbrahamH85, the GodH430 of IsaacH3327, and the GodH430 of JacobH3290, hath appearedH7200 unto thee. 6And Jehovah saidH559 furthermore unto him, Put now thy handH3027 into thy bosomH2436. And he put his handH3027 into his bosomH2436: and when he took it out, behold, his handH3027 was leprousH6879, as white as snowH7950. 7And he saidH559, Put thy handH3027 into thy bosomH2436 again. (And he put his handH3027 into his bosomH2436 again; and when he took it out of his bosomH2436, behold, it was turnedH7725 again as his other fleshH1320.) 8And it shall come to pass, if they will not believeH539 thee, neither hearken to the voiceH6963 of the firstH7223 signH226, that they will believeH539 the voiceH6963 of the latterH314 signH226. 9And it shall come to pass, if they will not believeH539 even these twoH8147 signsH226, neither hearken unto thy voiceH6963, that thou shalt takeH3947 of the waterH4325 of the riverH2975, and pourH8210 it upon the dryH3004 landH3004: and the waterH4325 which thou takest out of the riverH2975 shall becomeH1961 bloodH1818 upon the dryH3004 landH3004.

10And MosesH4872 saidH559 unto Jehovah, Oh, Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spokenH1696 unto thy servantH5650; for I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongueH3956. 11And Jehovah saidH559 unto him, Who hath madeH7760 man’sH120 mouthH6310? or who maketh a manH120 dumb, or deafH2795, or seeing, or blindH5787? is it not I, Jehovah? 12NowH6258 thereforeH6258 go, and I will beH1961 with thy mouthH6310, and teachH3384 thee what thou shalt speakH1696. 13And he saidH559, Oh, LordH136, sendH7971, I pray thee, by the handH3027 of him whom thou wilt sendH7971. 14And the angerH639 of Jehovah was kindled against MosesH4872, and he saidH559, Is there not AaronH175 thy brotherH251 the LeviteH3881? I knowH3045 that he can speakH1696 wellH1571. And alsoH1571, behold, he cometh forthH3318 to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be gladH8055 in his heartH3820. 15And thou shalt speakH1696 unto him, and putH7760 the wordsH1697 in his mouthH6310: and I will beH1961 with thy mouthH6310, and with his mouthH6310, and will teachH3384 you what ye shall do. 16And he shall beH1961 thy spokesman unto the peopleH5971; and it shall come to pass, that he shall beH1961 to thee a mouthH6310, and thou shalt beH1961 to him as GodH430.
