Exodus 28:2-20
2And thou shalt makeH6213 holyH6944 garmentsH899 for AaronH175 thy brotherH251, for gloryH8597 and for beautyH8597. 3And thou shalt speakH1696 unto all that are wise-hearted, whom I have filledH4390 with the spiritH7307 of wisdomH2451, that they makeH6213 Aaron’s garmentsH899 to sanctifyH6942 him, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office. 4And these are the garmentsH899 which they shall makeH6213: a breastplate, and an ephodH646, and a robeH4598, and a coat of checker work, a mitre, and a girdle: and they shall makeH6213 holyH6944 garmentsH899 for AaronH175 thy brotherH251, and his sonsH1121, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office. 5And they shall takeH3947 the goldH2091, and the blueH8504, and the purpleH713, and the scarletH8144, and the fineH8336 linenH8336.
6And they shall makeH6213 the ephodH646 of goldH2091, of blueH8504, and purpleH713, scarletH8144, and fineH8336 twined linenH8336, the workH4639 of the skilful workman. 7It shall have twoH8147 shoulder-pieces joinedH2266 to the twoH8147 endsH7098 thereof, that it may beH1961 joinedH2266 togetherH2266. 8And the skilfully woven band, which is upon it, wherewith to gird it on, shall beH1961 like the workH4639 thereof and of the same piece; of goldH2091, of blueH8504, and purpleH713, and scarletH8144, and fineH8336 twined linenH8336. 9And thou shalt takeH3947 twoH8147 onyxH7718 stonesH68, and grave on them the namesH8034 of the children of IsraelH3478: 10sixH8337 of their namesH8034 on the oneH259 stoneH68, and the namesH8034 of the sixH8337 that remainH3498 on the other stoneH68, according to their birth. 11With the workH4639 of an engraverH2796 in stoneH68, like the engravingsH6603 of a signet, shalt thou engrave the twoH8147 stonesH68, according to the namesH8034 of the children of IsraelH3478: thou shalt makeH6213 them to be inclosed in settings of goldH2091. 12And thou shalt putH7760 the twoH8147 stonesH68 upon the shoulder-pieces of the ephodH646, to be stonesH68 of memorialH2146 for the children of IsraelH3478: and AaronH175 shall bearH5375 their namesH8034 before Jehovah upon his twoH8147 shouldersH3802 for a memorialH2146. 13And thou shalt makeH6213 settings of goldH2091, 14and twoH8147 chainsH8333 of pureH2889 goldH2091; like cordsH5688 shalt thou makeH5414 them, of wreathen workH4639: and thou shalt putH5414 the wreathen chainsH8333 on the settings.
15And thou shalt makeH6213 a breastplate of judgmentH4941, the workH4639 of the skilful workman; like the workH4639 of the ephodH646 thou shalt makeH6213 it; of goldH2091, of blueH8504, and purpleH713, and scarletH8144, and fineH8336 twined linenH8336, shalt thou makeH6213 it. 16Foursquare it shall beH1961 and doubleH3717; a spanH2239 shall beH1961 the lengthH753 thereof, and a spanH2239 the breadthH7341 thereof. 17And thou shalt set in it settings of stonesH68, fourH702 rowsH2905 of stonesH68: a rowH2905 of sardius, topazH6357, and carbuncle shall be the first rowH2905; 18and the secondH8145 rowH2905 an emerald, a sapphireH5601, and a diamond; 19and the thirdH7992 rowH2905 a jacinthH3958, an agateH7618, and an amethystH306; 20and the fourthH7243 rowH2905 a beryl, and an onyxH7718, and a jasperH3471: they shall beH1961 inclosed in goldH2091 in their settings.
