Exodus 2:15-25
15Now when PharaohH6547 heardH8085 this thingH1697, he soughtH1245 to slayH2026 MosesH4872. But MosesH4872 fledH1272 from the faceH6440 of PharaohH6547, and dweltH3427 in the landH776 of MidianH4080: and he satH3427 downH3427 by a wellH875.
16Now the priestH3548 of MidianH4080 had sevenH7651 daughtersH1323: and they cameH935 and drew waterH8248, and filledH4390 the troughs to waterH8248 their father’sH1 flockH6629. 17And the shepherdsH7462 cameH935 and droveH1644 them awayH1644; but MosesH4872 stoodH6965 up and helped them, and wateredH8248 their flockH6629. 18And when they cameH935 to ReuelH7467 their fatherH1, he saidH559, How is it that ye are comeH935 so soon to-day? 19And they saidH559, An EgyptianH4713 deliveredH5337 us out of the handH3027 of the shepherdsH7462, and moreover he drew waterH8248 for us, and wateredH8248 the flockH6629. 20And he saidH559 unto his daughtersH1323, And whereH346 is he? whyH4100 is it that ye have leftH5800 the manH376? callH7121 him, that he may eatH398 breadH3899. 21And MosesH4872 was content to dwellH3427 with the manH376: and he gaveH5414 MosesH4872 ZipporahH6855 his daughterH1323. 22And she bare a sonH1121, and he calledH7121 his nameH8034 GershomH1647; for he saidH559, I have beenH1961 a sojournerH1616 in a foreignH5237 landH776.
23And it came to pass in the course of those manyH7227 daysH3117, that the kingH4428 of EgyptH4714 diedH4191: and the children of IsraelH3478 sighed by reason of the bondage, and they criedH2199, and their cryH2199 came up unto GodH430 by reason of the bondage. 24And GodH430 heardH8085 their groaningH5009, and GodH430 rememberedH2142 his covenantH1285 with AbrahamH85, with IsaacH3327, and with JacobH3290. 25And GodH430 sawH7200 the children of IsraelH3478, and GodH430 took knowledge of them.
