Exodus 14:9-23
9And the EgyptiansH4713 pursuedH7291 after them, all the horsesH5483 and chariotsH7393 of PharaohH6547, and his horsemenH6571, and his armyH2428, and overtookH5381 them encamping by the seaH3220, beside Pi-hahirothH6367, before Baal-zephonH1189.
10And when PharaohH6547 drewH7126 nigh, the children of IsraelH3478 liftedH5375 up their eyesH5869, and, behold, the EgyptiansH4713 were marching after them; and they were sore afraidH3372: and the children of IsraelH3478 criedH6817 out unto Jehovah. 11And they saidH559 unto MosesH4872, Because there were no gravesH6913 in EgyptH4714, hast thou takenH3947 us awayH3947 to dieH4191 in the wildernessH4057? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to bringH3318 us forthH3318 out of EgyptH4714? 12Is not this the wordH1697 that we spake unto thee in EgyptH4714, sayingH559, Let us alone, that we may serveH5647 the Egyptians? For it were betterH2896 for us to serveH5647 the Egyptians, than that we should dieH4191 in the wildernessH4057. 13And MosesH4872 saidH559 unto the peopleH5971, FearH3372 ye not, standH3320 stillH5750, and seeH7200 the salvationH3444 of Jehovah, which he will work for you to-day: for the EgyptiansH4713 whom ye have seenH7200 to-day, ye shall seeH7200 them againH5750 no more for everH5769. 14Jehovah will fightH3898 for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
15And Jehovah saidH559 unto MosesH4872, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speakH1696 unto the children of IsraelH3478, that they go forward. 16And liftH7311 thou up thy rodH4294, and stretchH5186 out thy handH3027 over the seaH3220, and divide it: and the children of IsraelH3478 shall goH935 into the midstH8432 of the seaH3220 on dryH3004 groundH3004. 17And I, behold, I will harden the heartsH3820 of the EgyptiansH4713, and they shall goH935 in after them: and I will get me honorH3513 upon PharaohH6547, and upon all his host, upon his chariotsH7393, and upon his horsemenH6571. 18And the EgyptiansH4713 shall knowH3045 that I am Jehovah, when I have gotten me honorH3513 upon PharaohH6547, upon his chariotsH7393, and upon his horsemenH6571. 19And the angelH4397 of GodH430, who wentH1980 before the campH4264 of IsraelH3478, removed and wentH1980 behind them; and the pillarH5982 of cloudH6051 removed from before them, and stoodH5975 behind them: 20and it cameH935 between the campH4264 of EgyptH4714 and the campH4264 of IsraelH3478; and there wasH1961 the cloudH6051 and the darknessH2822, yet gave it lightH215 by nightH3915: and the oneH2088 cameH935 not near the other all the nightH3915.
21And MosesH4872 stretchedH5186 out his handH3027 over the seaH3220; and Jehovah caused the seaH3220 to go back by a strongH5794 eastH6921 windH7307 all the nightH3915, and madeH7760 the seaH3220 dryH2724 land, and the watersH4325 were divided. 22And the children of IsraelH3478 wentH935 into the midstH8432 of the seaH3220 upon the dryH3004 groundH3004: and the watersH4325 were a wallH2346 unto them on their rightH3225 handH3225, and on their left. 23And the EgyptiansH4713 pursuedH7291, and wentH935 in after them into the midstH8432 of the seaH3220, all Pharaoh’s horsesH5483, his chariotsH7393, and his horsemenH6571.
