Exodus 10:3-19
3And MosesH4872 and AaronH175 wentH935 in unto PharaohH6547, and saidH559 unto him, ThusH3541 saith Jehovah, the GodH430 of the HebrewsH5680, How long wilt thou refuseH3985 to humble thyself before me? let my peopleH5971 goH935, that they may serveH5647 me. 4Else, if thou refuse to let my peopleH5971 goH935, behold, to-morrow will I bringH935 locustsH697 into thy borderH1366: 5and they shall coverH3680 the face of the earthH776, so that one shall not be ableH3201 to seeH7200 the earthH776: and they shall eatH398 the residue of that which is escapedH6413, which remaineth unto you from the hailH1259, and shall eatH398 every treeH6086 which groweth for you out of the fieldH7704: 6and thy housesH1004 shall beH1961 filledH4390, and the housesH1004 of all thy servantsH5650, and the housesH1004 of all the EgyptiansH4713; as neither thy fathersH1 nor thy fathers’H1 fathersH1 have seenH7200, since the dayH3117 that they were upon the earthH127 unto this dayH3117. And he turnedH6437, and wentH3318 out from PharaohH6547. 7And Pharaoh’s servantsH5650 saidH559 unto him, How long shall this manH376 beH1961 a snareH4170 unto us? let the menH376 goH7971, that they may serveH5647 Jehovah their GodH430: knowest thou not yet that EgyptH4714 is destroyedH6? 8And MosesH4872 and AaronH175 were broughtH7725 again unto PharaohH6547: and he saidH559 unto them, GoH1980, serveH5647 Jehovah your GodH430; but who are they that shall goH1980? 9And MosesH4872 saidH559, We will go with our youngH5288 and with our old; with our sonsH1121 and with our daughtersH1323, with our flocksH6629 and with our herdsH1241 will we go; for we must hold a feastH2282 unto Jehovah. 10And he saidH559 unto them, SoH3651 beH1961 Jehovah with you, as I will let you goH7971, and your littleH2945 onesH2945: lookH7200 to it; for evilH7451 is before you. 11Not soH3651: go now ye that are menH1397, and serveH5647 Jehovah; for that is what ye desire. And they were drivenH1644 out from Pharaoh’s presenceH6440.
12And Jehovah saidH559 unto MosesH4872, StretchH5186 out thy handH3027 over the landH776 of EgyptH4714 for the locustsH697, that they may comeH5927 up upon the landH776 of EgyptH4714, and eatH398 every herb of the landH776, even all that the hailH1259 hath leftH7604. 13And MosesH4872 stretchedH5186 forth his rodH4294 over the landH776 of EgyptH4714, and Jehovah brought an eastH6921 windH7307 upon the landH776 all that dayH3117, and all the nightH3915; and when it wasH1961 morningH1242, the eastH6921 windH7307 brought the locustsH697. 14And the locustsH697 wentH5927 up over all the landH776 of EgyptH4714, and restedH5117 in all the bordersH1366 of EgyptH4714; veryH3966 grievous wereH1961 they; before them there wereH1961 no such locustsH697 as they, neither after them shall beH1961 such. 15For they coveredH3680 the face of the whole earthH776, so that the landH776 was darkened; and they did eatH398 every herb of the landH776, and all the fruitH6529 of the treesH6086 which the hailH1259 had leftH3498: and there remainedH3498 not any green thing, either treeH6086 or herb of the fieldH7704, through all the landH776 of EgyptH4714. 16Then PharaohH6547 calledH7121 for MosesH4872 and AaronH175 in hasteH4116; and he saidH559, I have sinnedH2398 against Jehovah your GodH430, and against you. 17NowH6258 thereforeH6258 forgiveH5375, I pray thee, my sinH2403 onlyH389 this once, and entreatH6279 Jehovah your GodH430, that he may takeH5375 awayH5493 from me this deathH4194 onlyH389. 18And he wentH3318 out from PharaohH6547, and entreatedH6279 Jehovah. 19And Jehovah turnedH2015 an exceeding strongH2389 westH3220 windH7307, which tookH5375 up the locustsH697, and drove them into the Red SeaH3220; there remainedH7604 not oneH259 locustH697 in all the borderH1366 of EgyptH4714.
