2 Corinthians 10:7-18
7Ye lookG991 at the thingsG3778 that areG1510 before your faceG4383. If any manG3778 trusteth in himself that he isG1510 Christ’s, let him considerG3049 this againG3825 with himself, that, evenG2532 as he isG1510 Christ’s, so alsoG2532 areG1510 we. 8For though I should glory somewhat abundantly concerningG4012 our authorityG1849 (which the LordG2962 gaveG1325 for buildingG3619 you up, and not for casting you downG2506), I shall not be put to shame: 9that I may not seemG1380 as if I would terrify you by my lettersG1992. 10For, His lettersG1992, they sayG5346, are weightyG926 and strongG2478; but his bodily presenceG3952 is weakG772, and his speechG3056 of no accountG3056. 11Let such a oneG3778 reckon this, that, what we areG1510 in wordG3056 by lettersG1992 when we areG1510 absentG548, suchG5108 areG1510 we alsoG2532 in deedG2041 when we areG1510 present. 12For we are not bold to number or compare ourselves with certainG5100 of them that commendG4921 themselves: but they themselves, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves with themselves, are without understandingG4920. 13But we will not glory beyond our measureG3358, but accordingG2596 to the measureG3358 of the province which GodG2316 apportioned to us as a measureG3358, to reach evenG2532 unto you. 14For we stretch not ourselves overmuch, as though we reached not unto you: for we came evenG2532 as farG891 as unto you in the gospelG2098 of ChristG5547: 15not glorying beyond our measureG280, that is, in other men’s laborsG2873; but having hopeG1680 that, as your faithG4102 groweth, we shall be magnifiedG3170 in you accordingG2596 to our province unto further abundance, 16so as to preach the gospel even unto the parts beyond you, and not to glory in another’s province in regard of things readyG2092 to our hand. 17But he that glorieth, let him glory in the LordG2962. 18For not he that commendeth himself isG1510 approved, but whom the LordG2962 commendeth.
