37AndBabylonבָבֶ֨ל׀va.VelH894shallbecomeוְהָיְתָה֩ve.ha.ye.TahH1961heapsלְגַלִּ֧ים׀le.ga.LimH1530, adwellingH3427placeH1961forjackalsתַּנִּ֛יםta.NimH8577, an astonishment, and anhissingוּשְׁרֵקָ֖הu.she.re.KahH8322,withoutמֵאֵ֥יןme.'EinH369inhabitantיוֹשֵֽׁב׃yo.ShevH3427.

40I willbringאֽוֹרִידֵ֖ם'o.ri.DemH3381themdownH3381likelambsכְּכָרִ֣יםke.kha.RimH3733to theslaughterלִטְב֑וֹחַlit.Vo.achH2873, likeramsכְּאֵילִ֖יםke.'ei.LimH352with he-goats.

41Howאֵ֚יךְ'eikhH349isSheshachשֵׁשַׁ֔ךְshe.ShakhH8347takenנִלְכְּדָ֣הnil.ke.DahH3920! and thepraiseתְּהִלַּ֣תte.hi.LatH8416of thewholeכָּל־kol-H3605earthהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776surprised!howאֵ֣יךְ'eikhH349isBabylonבָּבֶ֖לba.VelH894becomeהָיְתָ֧הha.ye.TahH1961adesolationלְשַׁמָּ֛הle.sha.MahH8047among thenationsבַּגּוֹיִֽם׃ba.go.YimH1471!
