3Then sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֗ve.'a.mar.TaH559thou, Thus saithאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Yhwhיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069,The cityעִ֣יר'irH5892sheddethשֹׁפֶ֥כֶתsho.Fe.khetH8210bloodדָּ֛םdamH1818in the midstבְּתוֹכָ֖הּbe.to.KhahH8432of it, that her timeעִתָּ֑הּ'i.TahH6256may comeלָב֣וֹאla.Vo'H935,and makethוְעָשְׂתָ֧הve.'a.se.TahH6213idolsגִלּוּלִ֛יםgi.lu.LimH1544against herself to defileלְטָמְאָֽה׃le.ta.me.'AhH2930herself.

4Thou art become guiltyאָשַׁ֗מְתְּ'a.ShamtH816in thy bloodבְּדָמֵ֨ךְbe.da.MekhH1818that thou hast shedשָׁפַ֜כְתְּsha.FakhtH8210;and hast defiledטָמֵ֔אתta.MetH2930thyself in thine idolsוּבְגִלּוּלַ֤יִךְu.ve.gi.lu.La.yikhH1544which thou hast madeעָשִׂית֙'a.SitH6213;and thou hast caused thy daysיָמַ֔יִךְya.Ma.yikhH3117to draw nearוַתַּקְרִ֣יבִיva.tak.Ri.viH7126,and art comeוַתָּב֖וֹאva.ta.Vo'H935evenunto thy yearsשְׁנוֹתָ֑יִךְshe.no.Ta.yikhH8141:therefore have I madeנְתַתִּ֤יךְne.ta.TikhH5414thee a reproachחֶרְפָּה֙cher.PahH2781unto the heathenלַגּוֹיִ֔םla.go.YimH1471,and a mockingוְקַלָּסָ֖הve.ka.la.SahH7048to all countriesהָאֲרָצֽוֹת׃ha.'a.ra.TzotH776.

5Those that benearהַקְּרֹב֛וֹתha.ke.ro.VotH7138, and those that befarוְהָרְחֹק֥וֹתve.ha.re.cho.KotH7350from thee, shall mockיִתְקַלְּסוּ־yit.ka.le.su-H7046thee, which artinfamousטְמֵאַ֣ת הַשֵּׁ֔םte.me.'At ha.ShemH8034 H2931andmuchרַבַּ֖תra.BatH7227vexedהַמְּהוּמָֽה׃ha.me.hu.MahH4103.

6Behold, the princesנְשִׂיאֵ֣יne.si.'EiH5387of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,every oneאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376were in thee to their powerלִזְרֹע֖וֹliz.ro.'OH2220to shedשְׁפָךְ־she.fokh-H8210bloodדָּֽם׃DamH1818.

7In thee have they set lightהֵקַ֣לּוּhe.Ka.luH7043by fatherאָ֤ב'avH1and motherוָאֵם֙va.'EmH517:in the midstבְּתוֹכֵ֑ךְbe.to.KhekhH8432of thee have they dealtעָשׂ֥וּ'a.SuH6213by oppressionבַעֹ֖שֶׁקva.'O.shekH6233with the strangerלַגֵּ֛רla.GerH1616:in thee have they vexedה֥וֹנוּHo.nuH3238the fatherlessיָת֥וֹםya.TomH3490and the widowוְאַלְמָנָ֖הve.'al.ma.NahH490.

8Thou hast despisedבָּזִ֑יתba.ZitH959mine holy thingsקָדָשַׁ֖יka.da.ShaiH6944,and hast profanedחִלָּֽלְתְּ׃chi.La.letH2490my sabbathsשַׁבְּתֹתַ֖יsha.be.to.TaiH7676.

9In thee are menאַנְשֵׁ֥י'an.SheiH582that carry talesרָכִ֛ילra.KhilH7400to shedשְׁפָךְ־she.fokh-H8210bloodדָּ֑םDamH1818:and in thee they eatאָ֣כְלוּ'A.khe.luH398upon the mountainsהֶֽהָרִים֙he.ha.RimH2022:in the midstבְתוֹכֵֽךְ׃ve.to.KhekhH8432of thee they commitעָשׂ֥וּ'a.SuH6213lewdnessזִמָּ֖הzi.MahH2154.

10In thee have they discoveredגִּלָּה־gi.lah-H1540their fathers’אָ֖ב'avH1nakednessעֶרְוַת־'er.vat-H6172:in thee have they humbledעִנּוּ־'i.nu-H6031her that was set apartהַנִּדָּ֖הha.ni.DahH5079for pollutionטְמֵאַ֥תte.me.'AtH2931.

11And oneוְאִ֣ישׁ׀ve.'IshH376hath committedעָשָׂה֙'a.SahH6213abominationתּֽוֹעֵבָ֔הto.'e.VahH8441with his neighbour’sרֵעֵ֗הוּre.'E.huH7453wifeאֵ֣שֶׁת'E.shetH802;and anotherוְאִ֥ישׁve.'IshH376hath lewdlyבְזִמָּ֑הve.zi.MahH2154defiledטִמֵּ֣אti.Me'H2930his daughter in lawכַּלָּת֖וֹka.la.ToH3618;and anotherוְאִ֛ישׁve.'IshH376in thee hath humbledעִנָּה־'i.nah-H6031his sisterאֲחֹת֥וֹ'a.cho.ToH269,his father’sאָבִ֖יו'a.VivH1daughterבַת־vat-H1323.

12In thee have they takenלָֽקְחוּ־la.ke.chu-H3947giftsשֹׁ֥חַדSho.chadH7810to shedשְׁפָךְ־she.fokh-H8210bloodדָּ֑םDamH1818;thou hast takenלָקַ֗חַתְּla.Ka.chatH3947usuryנֶ֧שֶׁךְNe.shekhH5392and increaseוְתַרְבִּ֣יתve.tar.BitH8636,and thou hast greedily gainedוַתְּבַצְּעִ֤יva.te.va.tze.'IH1214of thy neighboursרֵעַ֙יִךְ֙re.'A.yikhH7453by extortionבַּעֹ֔שֶׁקba.'O.shekH6233,and hast forgottenשָׁכַ֔חַתְּsha.Kha.chatH7911me, saithנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136Yhwhיְהוִֽה׃Yah.wehH3069.
