12And, behold, Godהָאֱלֹהִ֧ים׀ha.'E.lo.HimH430himself is with us for ourcaptainבָרֹ֜אשׁva.RoshH7218,and his priestsוְכֹהֲנָ֛יוve.kho.ha.NavH3548with soundingהַתְּרוּעָ֖הha.te.ru.'AhH8643trumpetsוַחֲצֹצְר֥וֹתva.cha.tzo.tze.RotH2689to cry alarmלְהָרִ֣יעַle.ha.Ri.a'H7321against you. O childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478,fightתִּלָּֽחֲמ֛וּti.la.cha.MuH3898ye not against Yhwhיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵֽי־'e.lo.hei-H430of your fathersאֲבֹתֵיכֶ֖ם'a.vo.tei.KhemH1;for ye shall not prosperתַצְלִֽיחוּ׃tatz.Li.chuH6743.

13But Jeroboamוְיָֽרָבְעָ֗םve.ya.ra.ve.'AmH3379caused an ambushmentהַמַּאְרָ֔בha.ma'.RavH3993to comeלָב֖וֹאla.Vo'H935aboutהֵסֵב֙he.SevH5437behindמֵֽאַחֲרֵיהֶ֑םme.'a.cha.rei.HemH310them: so they were beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063,and the ambushmentוְהַמַּאְרָ֖בve.ha.ma'.RavH3993wasbehindמֵאַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃me.'a.cha.rei.HemH310them.

14And when Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063looked backוַיִּפְנ֣וּvai.yif.NuH6437,behold, the battleהַמִּלְחָמָה֙ha.mil.cha.MahH4421wasbeforeפָּנִ֣יםpa.NimH6440and behindוְאָח֔וֹרve.'a.ChorH268:and they criedוַֽיִּצְעֲק֖וּvai.yitz.'a.KuH6817unto Yhwhלַיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068,and the priestsוְהַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔יםve.ha.Ko.ha.NimH3548soundedמַחְצְרִ֖יםma.cha.tzo.tze.rimH2690with the trumpetsבַּחֲצֹצְרֽוֹת׃ba.cha.tzo.tze.RotH2689.
