2 Timothy 2:8-14
8RememberG3421 JesusG2424 ChristG5547, 1risenG1453 from the deadG3498, 2descendantG4690 of DavidG1160, 3accordingG2596 to my gospelG2098, 94for whichG3739 I 5sufferG2553 hardshipG2553 evenG3360 to 6imprisonmentG1199 as a 7criminalG2557; but 8the wordG3056 of GodG2316 9is not imprisonedG1210. 10For thisG3778 reasonG1223 10I endureG5278 allG3956 thingsG3956 for 11the sakeG1223 of 12thoseG3588 who are chosenG1588, 13soG2443 thatG2443 they alsoG2532 may obtainG5177 the 14salvationG4991 which is in 15ChristG5547 JesusG2424 and with it 16eternalG166 gloryG1391. 1117The statementG3056 is trustworthyG4103: For 18ifG1487 we diedG4880 with Him, we will alsoG2532 liveG4800 with Him;12IfG1487 we endureG5278, 19we will alsoG2532 reignG4821 with Him; IfG1487 we 2021denyG720 Him, He will alsoG2548 denyG720 us;13IfG1487 we are faithlessG569, 22He remainsG3306 faithfulG4103, for 23He cannotG1410G3756 denyG720 HimselfG1438.
14RemindG5279 them of theseG3778 thingsG3778, and solemnlyG1263 24exhortG1263 them inG1799 theG1799 presenceG1799 ofG1799 GodG2316 not to 25disputeG3054 aboutG3054 wordsG3054, which is uselessG3762G5539 and leads to the ruinG2692 of the listenersG191.
