2 Thessalonians 2:1-7
1NowG1161 we askG2065 you, 1brothersG80 and sisters, regardingG5228 the 23comingG3952 of our LordG2962 JesusG2424 ChristG5547 and our 4gatheringG1997 togetherG1997 to Him,
2that you not be quicklyG5030 shakenG4531 from your 5composureG3563 orG3366 be disturbedG2360 eitherG3383 by a 6spiritG4151, orG3383 a 78messageG3056, orG3383 a 9letterG1992 as ifG5613 from us, toG5613 theG5613 effectG5613 that 10the dayG2250 of the LordG2962 11has comeG1764.
312NoG3361 oneG5100 is to deceiveG1818 you in anyG3367 wayG5158! For it will not come unlessG1437G3361 the 1314apostasyG646 comesG2064 firstG4413, and the 15manG444 of lawlessnessG458 is revealedG601, the 16sonG5207 of destructionG684,
4who opposesG480 and exaltsG5229 himself aboveG1909 1718everyG3956 so-calledG3004 godG2316 orG2228 objectG4574 ofG4574 worshipG4574, soG5620 thatG5620 he takesG2523 his seatG2523 in the templeG3485 of GodG2316, 19displayingG584 himselfG1438 as beingG1510 GodG2316.
5Do you not rememberG3421 that 20while I was stillG2089 with you, I was tellingG3004 you theseG3778 thingsG3778?
6And you knowG3609 21what restrainsG2722 him nowG3568, soG1519 thatG1519 he will be revealedG601 in his timeG2540.
7For 22the mysteryG3466 of lawlessnessG458 is alreadyG2235 at workG1754; onlyG3440 2324He who nowG737 restrainsG2722 will do so untilG2193 25He is 26removedG1537G3319.
