1 John 2:7-11
71BelovedG27, I am 2not writingG1125 a newG2537 commandmentG1785 to you, but an oldG3820 commandmentG1785 whichG3739 you have hadG2192 3from the beginningG746; the oldG3820 commandmentG1785 is the wordG3056 whichG3739 you have heardG191. 84On the otherG3825 handG3825, I am writingG1125 5a newG2537 commandmentG1785 to you, whichG3739 is trueG227 in Him and in you, becauseG3754 6the darknessG4653 is passingG3855 awayG3855 and 7the trueG228 LightG5457 is alreadyG2235 shiningG5316. 9The one who saysG3004 that he is in the LightG5457 and yet 8hatesG3404 his 9brotherG80 or sister is in the darknessG4653 untilG2193 nowG737. 1010The one who lovesG25 his brotherG80 and sister remainsG3306 in the LightG5457, and there is nothingG3756 in him to causeG4625 stumblingG4625. 11But the one who 11hatesG3404 his brotherG80 or sister is in the darknessG4653 and 12walksG4043 in the darknessG4653, and does not knowG3609 whereG4226 he is goingG5217 becauseG3754 the darknessG4653 has 13blindedG5186 his eyesG3788.
