5He gatheredוַיִּקְבֹּץ֮vai.yik.BotzH6908the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֣יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548and Levitesוְהַלְוִיִּם֒ve.hal.vi.YimH3881and saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to them, “Goצְא֣וּtze.'UH3318outH3318to the citiesלְעָרֵ֪יle.'a.ReiH5892of Judahיְהוּדָ֟הye.hu.DahH3063and collectוְקִבְצוּ֩ve.kiv.TzuH6908moneyכֶּ֜סֶףKe.sefH3701from allמִכָּל־mi.kolH3605Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֨לYis.ra.'ElH3478torepairלְחַזֵּ֣ק׀le.cha.ZekH2388the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of your Godאֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֗ם'e.lo.hei.KhemH430annuallyמִדֵּ֤יmi.DeiH1767 H8141, and you shalldoH4116the workלַדָּבָ֑רla.da.VarH1697quicklyתְּמַהֲר֣וּte.ma.ha.RuH4116.”But the Levitesהַֽלְוִיִּֽם׃Hal.vi.YimH3881did not actH4116quicklyמִֽהֲר֖וּmi.ha.RuH4116.

6So the kingהַמֶּלֶךְ֮ha.me.leKhH4428summonedוַיִּקְרָ֣אvai.yik.Ra'H7121Jehoiadaלִֽיהוֹיָדָ֣עli.ho.ya.Da'H3077,the chiefהָרֹאשׁ֒ha.roShH7218priest,and saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to him, “Whyמַדּ֙וּעַ֙ma.Du.a'H4069have you not requiredדָרַ֣שְׁתָּda.Rash.taH1875the Levitesהַלְוִיִּ֔םhal.vi.YimH3881to bringלְהָבִ֞יאle.ha.Vi'H935inH935from Judahמִֽיהוּדָ֣הmi.hu.DahH3063and from Jerusalemוּמִֽירוּשָׁלִַ֗םu.mi.ru.sha.LimH3389thecontributionמַשְׂאַת֙mas.'AtH4864of Mosesמֹשֶׁ֣הmo.ShehH4872,the servantעֶֽבֶד־'e.ved-H5650of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and the congregationוְהַקָּהָ֖לve.ha.ka.HalH6951of Israelלְיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לle.Yis.ra.'ElH3478,for the tentלְאֹ֖הֶלle.'O.helH168of the testimonyהָעֵדֽוּת׃ha.'e.DutH5715?”
