4but soughtדָּרָ֔שׁda.RashH1875the Godלֵֽאלֹהֵ֤יle.lo.HeiH430of his fatherאָבִיו֙'a.VivH1,followedהָלָ֑ךְha.LakhH1980His commandmentsוּבְמִצְוֹתָ֖יוu.ve.mitz.vo.TavH4687, and did not actas Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478didכְּמַעֲשֵׂ֥הke.ma.'a.SehH4639.

5So the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068establishedוַיָּ֨כֶןvai.Ya.khenH3559the kingdomהַמַּמְלָכָה֙ha.mam.la.KhahH4467in hiscontrolבְּיָד֔וֹbe.ya.DoH3027,and allכָל־khol-H3605Judahיְהוּדָ֛הye.hu.DahH3063gaveוַיִּתְּנ֧וּvai.yi.te.NuH5414tributeמִנְחָ֖הmin.ChahH4503to Jehoshaphatלִיהוֹשָׁפָ֑טli.ho.sha.FatH3092, andhe hadוַֽיְהִי־vay.hi-H1961greatלָרֹֽב׃la.RoH7230richesעֹֽשֶׁר־'o.sher-H6239and honorוְכָב֖וֹדve.kha.VodH3519.

6He tookH1361greatH1361prideלִבּ֖וֹli.BoH1361 H3820in the waysבְּדַרְכֵ֣יbe.dar.KheiH1870of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,and againוְע֗וֹדve.'odH5750removedהֵסִ֛ירhe.SirH5493the highהַבָּמ֥וֹתha.ba.MotH1116placesH1116and theAsherimהָאֲשֵׁרִ֖יםha.'a.she.RimH842from Judahמִיהוּדָֽה׃ פmi.hu.DahH3063.
