2But the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068cameוַיְהִי֙vay.HiH1961toShemaiahשְׁמַֽעְיָ֥הוּshe.ma'.Ya.huH8098the manאִישׁ־'ish-H376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

3“Tellאֱמֹ֕ר'e.MorH559Rehoboamרְחַבְעָ֥םre.chav.'AmH7346the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֖הshe.lo.MohH8010,kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063,and allכָּל־kol-H3605Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478in Judahבִּיהוּדָ֥הbi.hu.DahH3063and Benjaminוּבִנְיָמִ֖ןu.vin.ya.MinH1144,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

4‘ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordיְהוָ֡הYah.wehH3068saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559: “You shall not goתַעֲלוּ֩ta.'a.LuH5927upH5927nor fightתִלָּ֨חֲמ֜וּti.La.cha.MuH3898againstעִם־'im-H5973your relativesאֲחֵיכֶ֗ם'a.chei.KhemH251;returnשׁ֚וּבוּShu.vuH7725,everyH376manH376,to his houseלְבֵית֔וֹle.vei.ToH1004,for thisהַזֶּ֑הha.ZehH2088eventהַדָּבָ֣רha.da.VarH1697is from Me.”’” So they listenedוַֽיִּשְׁמְעוּ֙vai.yish.me.'UH8085to the wordsדִּבְרֵ֣יdiv.ReiH1697of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068and returnedוַיָּשֻׁ֖בוּvai.ya.Shu.vuH7725from goingמִלֶּ֥כֶתmi.Le.khetH1980againstאֶל־'el-H413Jeroboamיָרָבְעָֽם׃ פya.ra.ve.'AmH3379.
