Titus 1:10-16

101For there are manyG4183 2rebelliousG506 menG506, 3emptyG3151 talkersG3151 and deceiversG5423, especiallyG3122 4thoseG3588 of the circumcisionG4061,

11whoG3739 mustG1163 be silencedG1993 becauseG3748 they are upsettingG396 5wholeG3650 familiesG3624, teachingG1321 6thingsG3739 they shouldG1163 not teach 7for the sakeG5484 of sordidG150 gainG2771.

12OneG5100 of themselvesG846, a prophetG4396 of their ownG2398, saidG3004, “8CretansG2912 are alwaysG104 liarsG5583, evilG2556 beastsG2342, lazyG692 gluttonsG1064.”

13ThisG3778 testimonyG3141 is trueG227. For thisG3739 reasonG156 9reproveG1651 them 10severelyG664 soG2443 that they may be 11soundG5198 in the faithG4102,

14not payingG4337 attentionG4337 to JewishG2451 12mythsG3454 and 13commandmentsG1785 of menG444 who 14turnG654 awayG654 from the truthG225.

1515To the pureG2513, allG3956 thingsG3956 are pureG2513; but 16to thoseG3588 who are defiledG3392 and unbelievingG571, nothingG3762 is pureG2513, but bothG2532 their 17mindG3563 and their conscienceG4893 are defiledG3392.

1618They professG3670 to knowG3609 GodG2316, but by their deedsG2041 they 19denyG720 Him, beingG1510 20detestableG947 and 21disobedientG545 and 22worthlessG96 23for anyG3956 goodG18 deedG2041.
