45The 1officersG5257 thenG3767 cameG2064 to the chiefG749 priestsG749 and PhariseesG5330, and they saidG3004 to them, “WhyG1223G5101 did you not bringG71 Him?”

46The 2officersG5257 answeredG611, “3NeverG3763 has a manG444 spokenG2980 the wayG3779 thisG3779 manG444 speaksG2980.”

47The PhariseesG5330 thenG3767 answeredG611 them, “4You have not alsoG2532 been ledG4105 astrayG4105, have you?

485NoG3361 oneG5100 of 6the rulersG758 orG2228 PhariseesG5330 has believedG4100 in Him, has he?

49But thisG3778 crowdG3793 which does not knowG1097 the LawG3551 is accursedG1884.”

507NicodemusG3530 (he who cameG2064 to Him beforeG4387, beingG1510 oneG1520 of them) saidG3004 to them,

51“8Our LawG3551 does not judgeG2919 a manG444 unlessG1437G3361 it firstG4413 hearsG191 from him and knowsG1097 whatG5101 he is doingG4160, does it?”

52They answeredG611 him, “9You are not alsoG2532 from GalileeG1056, are you? SearchG2045, and seeG3708 that noG3756 prophetG4396 arisesG1453 out of GalileeG1056.”
