Exodus 17:1-4

2Therefore the peopleH5971 5quarreledH7378 with MosesH4872 and saidH559, “GiveH5414 us waterH4325 that we may drinkH8354.” And MosesH4872 saidH559 to them, “6WhyH4100 do you quarrelH7378 with me? 7WhyH4100 do you testH5254 the LordH3068?”

3But the peopleH5971 thirstedH6770 thereH8033 for waterH4325; and 8they 9grumbledH3885 againstH5921 MosesH4872 and saidH559, “WhyH4100, nowH2088, have you broughtH5927 us up from EgyptH4714, to killH4191 10us and 11our childrenH1121 and 1213our livestockH4735 with thirstH6772?”

4So MosesH4872 criedH6817 out to the LordH3068, sayingH559, “WhatH4100 shall I doH6213 to thisH2088 peopleH5971? A 14littleH4592 moreH5750 and they will stoneH5619 me.”
