Exodus 14:22-31

221The sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 2wentH935 throughH935 the midstH8432 of the seaH3220 on the dryH3004 landH3004, and 3the watersH4325 were like a wallH2346 to them on their rightH3225 handH3225 and on their leftH8040. 23Then 4the EgyptiansH4714 tookH7291 up the pursuitH7291, and allH3605 Pharaoh’sH6547 horsesH5483, his chariotsH7393 and his horsemenH6571 wentH935 in afterH310 them into the midstH8432 of the seaH3220. 24At the morningH1242 watchH821, 5the LordH3068 lookedH8259 downH8259 on the 6armyH4264 of the EgyptiansH4714 7through the pillarH5982 of fireH784 and cloudH6051 and broughtH2000 the 8armyH4264 of the EgyptiansH4714 into confusionH2000. 25He 9caused their chariotH4818 wheelsH212 to swerveH5493, and He made them driveH5090 with difficultyH3517; so the EgyptiansH4714 saidH559, “Let 10us fleeH5127 from IsraelH3478, 11for the LordH3068 is fightingH3898 for them against the EgyptiansH4714.”

26Then the LordH3068 saidH559 to MosesH4872, “12StretchH5186 out your handH3027 overH5921 the seaH3220 so that the watersH4325 may comeH7725 backH7725 overH5921 the EgyptiansH4714, overH5921 their chariotsH7393 and their horsemenH6571.” 27So MosesH4872 stretchedH5186 out his handH3027 overH5921 the seaH3220, and 13the seaH3220 returnedH7725 to its normalH386 stateH386 at daybreakH1242, while the EgyptiansH4714 were fleeingH5127 14rightH7122 into it; then the LordH3068 1516overthrewH5287 the EgyptiansH4714 in the midstH8432 of the seaH3220. 28The watersH4325 returnedH7725 and coveredH3680 the chariotsH7393 and the horsemenH6571, 17even Pharaoh’sH6547 entireH3605 armyH2428 that had goneH935 into the seaH3220 afterH310 them; 18not evenH5704 oneH259 of them remainedH7604. 29But the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 walkedH1980 on 19dryH3004 landH3004 through the midstH8432 of the seaH3220, and the watersH4325 were like a wallH2346 to them on their rightH3225 handH3225 and on their leftH8040.

3020Thus the LordH3068 savedH3467 IsraelH3478 that dayH3117 from the handH3027 of the EgyptiansH4714, and IsraelH3478 21sawH7200 the EgyptiansH4714 deadH4191 on the seashoreH3220H8193. 31When IsraelH3478 sawH7200 the greatH1419 22powerH3027 whichH834 the LordH3068 had 23usedH6213 against the EgyptiansH4714, the peopleH5971 24fearedH3372 the LordH3068, and 25they believedH539 in the LordH3068 and in His servantH5650 MosesH4872.
