Exodus 1:17-21
But the midwivesH3205 12fearedH3372 GodH430, and 3did not doH6213 as the kingH4428 of EgyptH4714 had 4commandedH1696 them, but let the boysH3206 liveH2421.
So the kingH4428 of EgyptH4714 calledH7121 for the midwivesH3205 and saidH559 to them, “WhyH4069 have you doneH6213 thisH2088 thingH1697, and let the boysH3206 liveH2421?”
The midwivesH3205 saidH559 to PharaohH6547, “BecauseH3588 the HebrewH5680 womenH5680 are not as the EgyptianH4713 womenH802; for they are vigorousH2422 and giveH3205 birthH3205 beforeH2962 the midwifeH3205 5canH935 getH935 to them.”
So 6GodH430 was goodH3190 to the midwivesH3205, and 7the peopleH5971 multipliedH7235, and becameH6105 veryH3966 8mightyH6105.
BecauseH3588 the midwivesH3205 910fearedH3372 GodH430, He 1112establishedH6213 13householdsH1004 for them.
